It's more of internal body changes that occur, not hormones.

@Topic: I rarely feel pain or cramps but when I do, I pass out especially after hubby prays for me and I regain consciousness / wake up fine cheesy

. (Happened about 4times I can remember )

Mood swing: rarely happens.

On the whole, my periods are drama free cheesy

Hiaannn I am so aggressive, irritable and moody during those periods. If you don't want to be victim of emotional outbursts just stay out of my way during such periods.
I don't even eat during those periods. I loose my appetite for food and other things. Don't want to listen to anybody, don't want to be disturbed or bothered. I also hate hearing shewa see this, shewa can you help me do this, even if you greet me sef I won't answer. Perhaps maybe if I would it will be with a hiss or eyeing you.
Basically I am not the best of persons during those periods. Wuras nany sef dey always hear am from me . Good enough she understands

Nawa oo...I pity u oo..ur hormornes shaa! my own no reach like that oo....meanwhile I forgot to add the sore and painful nipples part...not funny @all...the tin dey pain me eh! Mtchewww! Being a woman is not easy oo!

@ topic, my own pain used to be out of this world. Chai! The pain actually begins like two days before the main thing comes. I lie down in bed rolling from one end to the other holding my tommy and sighing from time to time, complete loss of appetite and lots more. The good news is, I no longer experience it after the birth of my baby.

Of course yes.
Have you heard of sloughing of the endometrial lining of the womb? This occur everytime the released egg fails to be implanted and get disintegrated. This is what menstruation is all about.
Next time, update your brain about a female body before talking out of your ass, olodo.

Inasmuch you ladies are bold enough to discuss this in the open, just have it in mind that some guys like me are already wondering how difficult it will be getting married to someone with all this problem.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis hence my painful cramps. embarassed

I experience excruciating pain and will be pretty much unproductive if i fail to take my medication a week before.

My boobz get bigger.

Bloatiness

Loss of appetite

I sometimes break out on my face.

I honestly wish i could do without bleeding every month.

Never knew most of the stuffs mentioned here actually go on during the PMS days.

I know better now than to be expecting her to do some things during this period.

Pain,more pain everywhere hurts,b00bs,tummy everywhere.will spend the whole day rolling on the floor.am pissed at everyone and everything.hot lipton helps for some few minutes,most times i take ibuprofen.omo i dnt look forward to that time of the month.have been that way as far back as i can rememer,but surprisingly this month was pain free.wonder what happened.i just pray it remains this way.

I feel it's laziness for a guy to come here and discourage women from opening up abt stuff they go through every month for no faultof theirs.

I feel pretty weak for 2-3 days and I suffer from pain on the first day but I always take painkillers and if I have the luxury to be at home, I use a hot-water bottle and put it on my belly. Unfortunately, I seldom have the luxury to be at home when it happens because I work.

The days after are a great relief, I feel like newly born. cheesy

I'm always irritated by noise (if someone laffs too much sef, I get pissed off and give them a bad look... Lol)... I tend to stay on my own and give one word answers to questions...

D discomfort I face on d first day of my menstrual flows are always terrible... I feel pains on my waist, stomach and thighs that I won't b able to stand... No sitting or sleeping position is ever convenient...
