It's a borrowed language quite alright, but it's also our first and official language. So I guess there is no excuse for him to compose English so poorly. Tell me, after schooling in an English-speaking school where they speak and write in English from Primary (not to mention Nursery, Crechè etcetera), Secondary and University, we still create excuses like it's a borrowed language? sad

That's the mistake most people make, thinking anything high end must always be very high in price.

Yes it is for techno devices. It has high end specs but not incredulously expensive when compared to phones from other companies that share her specs. It therefore make very good economic sense. That's techno's brand selling point.

As for the glass I have no idea of what's its made of. all I know is that its durable.

u can also cheat tecno h6 the fone z jest 17k....buh its a mad machine for that price...kitkat ..IPS screen 1gb ram 8gb ROM..8mp camera..check h6 thread and get wowed!

All 8gb rom are really just 5gb.

But forget specs, I'd like to hear users review. I don't like Tecno phones because of their screen resolutions though. Dull colors is a no-no for me.

actually, the earlier tecno android phones are trash... am a developer, I know what am saying. they all have very bad kernel, poor ui and some doesn't even have any recovery....

it was good when Tecno came into the market giving cheaper options in the phone market...no doubt!! but they havent improved on this feat...no one i know has been able to sustain his tecno more than a year of using it. Something is always bound to be faulty..



My samsung is still my baby in the android...and has served me more than a year now...it has even fallen a couple of times, but no kwams

TECNO came into the market bringing about limitations to high quality devices nd services which can be obtained at a fairly higher price.
This act of producing cheap android phones from the cheapeats of materials in so alarming, thereby, increasing the rate of consumption nd reducing the quality of produce. Their product doesn't move with trend in the sense of being updated.The warranty given to their products is not to be regarded as warranty rather buyranty.it spoils u buy another one.lack of durability in their product really sucks.
My experience with my tecno phantom.This occured during my period of warranty.The device fell nd the screen broke. i Took d phone to a tecno office at shoprite with my ipad. I relayed what happened to the officer present he told me two options 1 to pay 12000 nd comeback in three weeks or pay 3000 nd comeback in two months time i was so irritated when i heard dis. i walked into an apple store wanting to unlock my device i complaint,the officer collected my device in 10minutes he was through i asked for the cost he said i shold go cos its free nd moreover you are still on ur warranty.I got home checked my ipad i found out that d software as being updated also.And i looked at my tecno phone i was so annoyed. This tecno of a company should find something to do to their system.

Warranty and guarantee means thesame when it comes to product assurance. Where did u fabricate ur definition from? undecided

the only point in ur post is the OS update. Pertaining to the warranty issue, there is difference between warranty and guaranty. Warranty deals with the fone software, maybe it has some factory problem while guaranty deals with hardware in the case of the broken screen... Cest Claire?

Mehn I ave been expecting this topic since someone will be comparing S4 and phantom A or A+ its like comparing PS3 and PS4.Nigerians will hear hexa core and go and buy the phone meanwhile some dual core and quad core are *2 beta than hexa core.Stupidity is when u buy Tecno phantom Z for 50k when u can buy S4 besides S4 even offers warranty for broken screen for 2 yrs I think

lol. Say what you know jor. I got N3 april last year and it hasn't had a single hardware ish. I've even used several custom ROMs on it for the fun of it. And yes it has fallen a few times (since carelessness is your benchmark for the ultimate android user).

They haven't improved? Hmmm... Tell me, how many Samsung phones below 30k can boast of OTG? List them.

Now how often have Samsung made low end phones? When they do, it's usually weird devices pretending to be android. We all know how crappy Samsung Galaxy pocket was. I don't even want to add Samsung Galaxy Y.

People arrogantly perched on sentimental bandwagons hardly ever examine facts.

you are also wrong.

First, there is nothing like guaranty in HHP(hand held phone) after service but there is warranty.

Warranty for hand held devices covers software and hardware provided it is not customer damage. If your touch panel,screen goes blank or speaker stop working without any traceable damage from the customer, then it would be treated as warranty.....these are of course hardware parts of a phone.

But if it was damaged by the customer or there is any trace of liquid intrusion, then you are paying for service.

@op the samsung s5 went blank that is why it was treated as warranty,abeit if an s4 or s5 got broken it would still be treated as warranty because these brands of samsung are licençe with ADH(accidental damage due to handling). Any lower end phone from samsung that is customer damage automatically void its warranty. So op, you have no point as regards the broken tecno phone...warranty does not cover physical damage.
