but It's going to affect the kid's social life in school.
Jerks will make him the laughing stock.
She should have schooled somewhere far away, somewhere for Adult Education ...or even home schooling rather than attracting unusual attention for herself and her son, thereby psychologically affecting the poor boy.

These are the type of woman the world needs. She needs to teach them ladies of these days something, that's if they would learn though.
She reminds me of my mom so much. God bless this woman and make her successful.

If most young girls of today could emulate her firmness of purpose, we wouldn't be having the high rate of future mother-sluts we have today.

Not vouching for her chastity though.

some people don't know how precious something is until they are deprived of it. Many artisans you see these days cant go more than their present situation because they had no education. this woman has taken a stand to change her life for the better by choosing to go back to school. i really applaud her. keep it up woman

She's only aiming for secondary school.
Can't you see it from what she's saying...

And No. I'm not against playing catch up and going back to school. But at her age, and in a society like Nigeria, I hate to say it but it's fruitless.

Also, we have agencies and schools that are specially designed to treat cases like hers. But she conveniently skip them over.

You sort of have a point when you say it might be pontless in a certain sense especially in a society like Nigeria, but doesn't that highlight the fact that the Nigerian society is one which never rewards merit and lacks any sense of rectitude or honour?

It might affect the child if the child gets involved with the wrong crowd who would want to mock him. A great future lies ahead for the child if he gets to endure this stage and look ahead, and the experience might be a big motivation for him in future life. Secondary school is just a phase.

I have been laughing and shaking my head at all the comments and e-fights. A PLATEAU WOMAN! The stories before and after have not been told. Let Plateau folks comment or come out in defence or otherwise of the woman.

Big waste of time and money.

She ought to be at home; taking care of her husband and grandchildren. And not on a fruitless wild goose chase...

And even if she really needs the education, whatever happens to adult education?... Can't she enroll in one?
I wonder if u can b successful in life with dis ur little brain..ODE

Indeed, it's never too late to learn. This woman, particularly is already a role model.

"the scientists we all honour today" weren't psychologically abused by their parents.

I love this lady, she's very industrious. those of u saying she should go for adult education,it's way more expensive and maybe she can't afford it. Do u know how fulfilled u'll feel when u r really old looking back at ur life n u realise u achieved at least half or more of ur dreams?? It's a great feeling, let this lady achieve her dreams.
I have 1 question though: why is she the main bread winner of the family? What was her husband doing all the while she was husting to make ends meet?? lipsrsealed

Never give up ,
never give in,
never let ray of hope slip in,
I ll never fall,
i ll never fail,
I just get up and try again,
Never lose hope,
never lose faith,
Thers much too much at stake,
Upon myself I must depend,
I am just waiting for place or show,
I gonna win

What have you done with your life other than bringing people down with your negative projections?

Oh, well you have no life.
