Well, wasn't it obvious?

If only he related to the housemates with tact, dude would have stood a much better chance. But then too late to cry over spilt milk. It is what it is.

I'm not going to say I told you. But I must confess that I'm impressed with the poll result. He came very close.

All that money for airtime should have been saved up and given to Tayo. 1000 from 54000 nigerians and we have his 300k usd.

Akintoye a...k...a Ajani the Lion the Slayer. We tried our best but couldn't give the the ultimate prize. But hey, youre not a failure, never will. Rather you should be proud that despite coming from a region thats at the disadvantage number wise, you watched your haters leave one by one and still made it to the final 2. Thats something to be proud of brah. And always remember that on a fair ground, Idris has no chance whatsoever against you. Youre a Lion, hes an erm erm native rabbit.

Honestly, at first, I never thought you stood a chance, not cos you didnt have what it takes but cos you were at the disadvantage region wise. Then gradually you began to scale through, week by week ,and when you finally made it to the final, I was very happy for you. I knew the chance was verrrrry tight but i was still optimistic and deep down, i thought and hoped you ll win but alas, like they say--------- we cannot always get everything we want.

Did I regret voting you? Hell no. You remain and will always remain the ultimate Hotshot. Are they maddd!! Hehe. They must be madddd...

And I saw something on stage---- the whole housemates(excluding 3 or so) were very happy not cos Idris won but cos you lost. You were looking like a grass in the midst of wild bushes not until Esther....a...k....Ata wewe(God bless her soul) came and hugged you, kept famzing you.. Awww. I was so moved. That was my highlight of the night. And despite my disappointment concerning your loss, I just found myself smiling.

Youre star and will always remain one. This is just step in the right direction. Go home with your head held high. Go home and make love to that woman you respected so much by avoiding other women durinģ the whole duration of the show. Go home and pinch those tiny cheeks of Toye junior.

I wont lie, you ll def feel the pain of loosing, but you lll be surprised at how time heals quickly. At the opportunities that ll be waiting to be explored.

Over seas
Over Land
Over mountains and the sky
I ll be brave
And I ll be strong
Am an African boy..
Tadada

Soja go soja come, Barack remain the same. Life must go on.

It has been a journey.

## officially sips the very last of Tayo water##
Very touching! Thanks, Kslib. God bless Tayo, and I hope he takes this in stride.

I don't think he lost because he lacks character.
An adulterer won the BBA Season 2, while Melvin, a man of good character (in my opinion) lost last year.
I'm beginning to think that some people would rather have anyone who isn't Nigerian win this s-hit.
Oh well.......

Richard wasn't arrogant...he was funny and had problems with Hmates but didn't go around degrading people..he and Ofunneka were the underdogs in season2 . You have a point with the non Nigerian issue though ... but with a nicer attitude I think Tayo would have won, people really loved him in the beginning even in the house

Well, Tayo didn't win Big Brother Regions...I was going to post this after seeing How Africa Voted, but as Biggie no gree release am, I get school tomorrow so no time.

I did this whole S/O thing last year so I no go do am again this year. To all LOYAL Team Tayo members (una sabi unaselves) Big Up Yourselves. Y'all gave it a good fight, some factors just never favored us from the get-go.

To all threadmates, you guys have been awesome. Have a nice life and all the best to those of you who will be returning next year, have fun cuz like I promised, this is my last time watching BBRegions.

I leave with these words

"Big Brother did not make me hot, I was HOT before I came here"- Akintayo Faniran...AKT Nigga...Papa Toye...The Sexiest Hotshot...Alphamale...(IMO) Nigeria's Best BBA Rep

same hia...Sick and tired of regionalism

Don't get it twisted. d only reason Tayo lost was because of d regional imbalance. Even if he was an angel d dynamics of d game did not favour him. 4 him to be runner-up inspite of dis imbalance is a great testimony to d fact dat he played his game well & people appreciated him 4 who he was - a humanbeing wit flaws like all of us. Were Idris to be nigerian frm west Africa his fate couldn't hav been different. d dynamics in d game changed d day ellah was evicted & Idris became d sole east African candidate. dis change in dynamics was not lost on us or even on d remaining HMs. Didn't u hear d Kenyan artist yesterday night openly bragging dat Idris was representing d whole of east africa?. It would require a miracle to make Tayo win.
Kenyans have perfected the art of regionalism even with their own politics.
A Kenyan can analyze and dissect who will win the 2034 presidential elections by studying regionalism.
In fact, Regionalism should be a compulsory course in all Kenyan academic institutions.

Having said that, I think the voting system should change so that individual votes can be counted rather than country blocs. I am East African, but voted for Tayo relentlessly even though I had sworn never to vote for BBA. My votes, and many others who voted for Tayo were nullified by the majority votes of Idris. I hate this regional ish anyway.

When i said Idris had East Africa on his hands, Safarigirl told me to shut up, she said rwanda is voting Tayo. I mean really, sometimes we need to be honest with ourselves and stop this sentimental bull kak. East africa you talking about the countries that speak same language, very tight countries, there was no way rwanda was gonna abundan Idris. I asked who is well known in Rwanda between Frankie and Arthur. Safarigirl said frankie is more popular. After tayo told Arthur that he is not funny and called him names, do you think Rwanda was happy when one of their best comedian and radio personality is told is not funny. frankie is not even known in rwanda, the guy spent much time in canada, he is unkown, so he was not influential.
safarigirl wey dis one dey talk don go make front page for one literature thread, she don leave Tayo matter.

No way I'm believing that result . Ghana couldn't have abandoned their own for real. Those BBA organizers be exposing themselves slowly.

Mambea is more South african than ghanaian, She might not even go to Ghana after the show, all her family members are based in East london South Africa, but she works in Midrand Johannesburg, She is a manager at a furniture shop. I think that could be the reason why they abandon her.
