All things been equal with your application deemed complete/correct and all conditions are met, your acct will be debited & you expect to get your PER. Keep your fingers crossed for now & keep praying if you know how to.
Good luck!

25th september applicant with dd. No news yet on my app and quite apprehensive here. Anybody in similar situation? So worried. Can someone explain the delay in charging dd in comparison to cc........God help me sad
The difference btwn CC and DD charging is that once CC is charged u get instant notification but DD takes a longer while, u have to confirm from the bank that issued u the draft. The best thing is to monitor When others with ur timeline will get their PER, ur PER might drop before u even get a confirmation from ur bank.
So just chill. No cause for alarm.

Instructions said 9" by 12" envelope. I could only find 10" by 12. Is it ok?
How do I adress the envelope.
The pages with the bar code are they coming at the last page of my application or at the last page of the gene form
thank you
sending application tomorrow by God's grace

Hi all,
When is it most appropriate to update VO of any changes? I got my PER in november, a new baby arrived 3 weeks back & got a new job to resume in January.
Also what address can I use to send the changes?
Thanks in anticipation.

No problem with the envelope size. Pages of the barcode should come after the checklist. Pls follow the arrangement as specified in the checklist.

Thumbs up to all the heroes and counselors in the house! Like many others, I have been a silent but ardent follower of this thread. You are all doing a great job.

My timeline is as follows:

August 26th- Application Received

November 21st - GTB Naira MasterCard debited

December 15th - PER received.

A big shout out to Damkollins, Solomonwise and the likes for their self-less services on this platform. Truthfully, if Nigeria had more of your type, then roles would reverse and Canadians would be hustling to obtain Visas to Nigeria. As the late radio host (Chaz B) would always say, "If each one could reach one, then each one could teach one, what a beautiful nation Nigeria would be..." While it is my prayer that all our "Canada dreams" come to pass, I would wish to admonish us all to take the burden of Nigeria to heart wherever we go. I believe there's still hope for our country and you might just be that person that God would use to solve the Nigeria-equation.

I love you all.

Congratulations!

All the best!

You have to read through the thread to know your stance in terms of qualification. Also, read through the instruction here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/index.asp#cn-cont

if you need any clarification afterwards, you can then come on here to ask.

Hi damkollins, pls I need an advice, I just got my bank draft from royal bank of Canada for the purpose of the on going fsw but a mistake was made on the draft, the bank draft was issued IFO of Receiver general of Canada instead of receiver general for Canada, can this pose a threat to cashing of the money. I would have raised another draft but the year is almost ending and before it gets shipped back to Nigeria might just take a while.
Pls, I need a response asap on this subject. Anybody in the house can respond.
Thank you so Zeelo much. I'm kind of assured that the issue of "of and for" is nothing to worry about.

No worries. My was written recieved for Canada by GTB nigeria but was accepted. Provided their quid is complete other ones na grammar

It's basically creating an awareness that there are 4,565 other complete applications waiting to be given a final review and which will eventually form part of the 11,544.So if anyone is still contemplating sending an application at this eleventh hour,it is basically going to be a gamble of some sort.

Hello solomonwis, please my application got to CIC on the 10th of December, is it save to assume that it is part of the 4,565 other complete applications waiting to be given a final review?

Nobody can tell you with certainty except of course you work around some factors like

Which is your eligible occupation?

What is the total number of complete applications received for your eligible occupation?

What is the total number of pending applications waiting for review in your eligible occupation?

What is the overall total if you add the pending applications with the complete applications for your eligible occupation?

If you consider the above factors, you might as well assume the current situation with your application.

Not to worry. Use the other name that appears on all your documents on the forms.
On Form IMM0008ENU_2D, under personal details, number 2 precisely, where you are asked if you have ever used any other name, put the name that you don't usually use which appears on your birth certificate.

Goodluck
