The year 2014 is about to end. Let's take a look at the major happenings in the Nigerian entertainment in 2014.
Here are the major highlights of the good, the bad and the ugly of Nigerian entertainment in 2014.

THE GOOD

We heard news about so many good things that happened to a lot of our entertainers such as:

*Weddings
-Tiwa Savage and Tee Bliz wedded in Dubai
-Paul Okoye and Anita Isama's traditional marriage
-Jude Okoye's wedding
-Jnr Pope wedded
O.C Ukeje wedded
-Ibinabo Fiberesima found love again and did both her traditional and white wedding

PREGNANCIES & DELIVERIES
-Mercy Johnson was pregnant & also gave birth to a baby boy.
-Uche Ogbodo was pregnant and also gave birth to a baby girl.
-Damilola Adegbite was pregnant and also gave birth.
Uche Jombo was pregnant, lost it, and got pregnant again.
-Ty Bello gave birth to twins after many years of marriage.

Scholarships
The following Nollywood stars were given scholarships by NOU: Ini Edo, Kenneth Okonkwo, Chioma Akpota, Francis Duru, and few others.

Endorsements
Omotola and Dakore Akande became ambassadors for pampers; others that got endorsement deals were, Funke Akindele, Ali Nuhu-(Omo), Dbanj, Tiwa Savage, amongst others.

Pageant-Mr World
Mr Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese, emerged First Runner Up at the Mr World Competition held in the Uk.

Music
Many of our musicians released lots of singles and albums that made waves, and many of them also won awards.
-Tonto Dikeh was signed by Dbanj.

Awards:
-Omotola and Joke Silver bagged MFR Awards from president Jonathan.
-Patience Ozokwor and Olu Jacobs bagged centenary awards.

Politics:
Desmond Elliot & Funke Adesinya secured tickets to represent their parties in the forthcoming general elections; they would be contesting for their state's house of Assembly.

THE BAD

-Ini Edo's divorce scandal
-Uche Ogbodo's divorce
-Psquare break up rumours
-Tiwa Salvage and Tee Bliz' divorce rumours
-Uche Jombo's miscarriage.
-Many entertainers like 9ice, Kate Henshaw, Kenneth Okonkwo, etc, lost out in their bid to secure tickets to contest in various positions in the forthcoming general elections.

THE UGLY

Sex Scandal
Actress Angela Okorie was involved in a serious adultery and theft mess in South Africa.

Deaths

- Amaka Igwe's demise
-Kefee's death
-Singer Zara's death
-Clems Onyeka shot dead in Asaba.

Happy for nollywood. Actually am not a nollywood type, if not because of nairaland I wldn't have knw most of them. Anyway you have to always support your own. I wish them a promising 2015

The movies are total garbage, even the high budget ones that make Omotola,Genevieve and the likes think they are demigods. You watch the movies and you wonder why/how did they put the script together.
