food science and technology is quite different from nutrition and dietetics.
food science and technology to be understood by a layman has to do with processing of food and conversion of those foods into various food products for consumption and for reasons like enhancing the shelf life of food or variety example your biscuits from wheat ,golden morn from maize

The guy that compares fst with N/d, is so myopic and his words laced with ego and pride. There is no way hospital wil employ fst grad or you doing the work of a nutritionist. Fst is under faculty of engineering. Nut/dietatics is under faculty of health science. To the lad seeking for advice nutrition nd dietatics seems the most lucrative as any body can be trained to process foods and do all the analysis and sensory shits. How many fst grads bake bread? Or any other food products? Btw i am jux a health worker and i never see any soul do the work of nutritionist. Ciao.
