Economic elitists interests supersede religious interests.

Good one. Why this US arms talk all the time. The will of an army will always overcome the sophistication of opposing weaponry. The Red Army had far inferior weapons to the German Army at the battle of Stanlingrad but Stalin put simply put a gun to the heads of his generals and told them not to return. The rest is history.

The reason for the US refusal is simple. A cornerstone of any good army is that if you do have to make a tactical withdrawal, you should never let certain sophisticated equipment fall into your opponent's hands. That means you destroy them.

We have all seeing that when our soldiers are out powered, they leave tanks and guns for Boko Haram to be used on our boys at a later date. As regards to why the US would stop Israel from selling to Nigeria, Israel can sell equipment to us that are of Israeli manufacture but they ARE NOT ALLOWED to sell US made equipment without approval from the US.

On a lower level, if anyone here buys or owns certain I.T. equipment that are manufactured in the US, you should know that you cannot sell it to North Korea or Iran; if you do, you risk jail if the US finds out and you ever step on US shores.
