4. But while Buhari is going to IMPROVE VERY MUCH on his performance of 2011 (by getting MORE votes in his strongholds and making GREAT INROADS into all the other regions, GEJ on the other hand is going to do LESS WELL in his SS/SE strongholds than he did in 2011.

5. The clueless is also SURELY going to get MUCH LESS votes in the MB, NW and NE.

The presidential candidate of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari has declined the invitation to attend a presidential debate set for tomorrow February 3, 2015 by Channels TV in conjunction with the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN) and Arise TV. While speaking on Channels this moreen, Dele Alake, the Director of Strategy for the APC says General Buhari will not be attending the debate. Alake said it is because their party believes that some media organizations have been compromised and that the independence of some of the organizers of the debate cannot be vouched for.

Well, this is not coming to me as a surprise. I said the General might just avoid what is likely to be a trap by Oga Ade and his people because they will surely twist the debate into something else. Oga Ade started the disappearance from debates so he should not even complain....lol! If the National Association of Nigerian Students was a useful body now, they could have actually organized this debate in conjunction with the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Medical Association, Nigerian Labour Congress, NUT and many other bodies. But NANS, which is supposed to be the voice of the Nigerian youths, is a lapdog of President Jonathan and his wife and it is good as useless. For those Nigerians who will be disappointed by General Buhari's turning down the debate, you can select from any of the other 11 aspirants. Nigerian democracy never rish the level of COMPULSORY debates, let us start from the councillorship aspirants and then move up. For now, turning down the offer will not change the minds of many Nigerians who already know who to vote for, debate or no debate. Only if Jonathan showed that first time, this would not have probably happened...lol

You have written good English but am surprised that someone like you can't do a simple research on history. In 2011, there where two debates. The first, Buhari turned down and the only Goodluck attended. While the second debate, Goodluck turned it down and only Buhari and the other candidates appeared for it. Even if it had been like you said, that Goodluck did not attend, should we now not present these two candidates for debate? It's just like saying because corruption has been in Nigerian system, it should continue even in this age. If there must be a debate, it must start from the top then other political office holders will follow suit. Buhari has to debate. APC said they prefer chanells now they are still scared to debate even when it's Chanells that is organizing the debate. It is very clear he is avoiding some questions. But if he wants to rule this country, he must be answerable to the nation. He is not bigger than Nigeria. This is not a military regime where his word is law. He should be ashamed of himself. Even primary school students debate or doesn't he know what to say? And just for the record, it's not their wives that are contesting for the office of the president so this debate doesn't concern them. Let stick to the bone of contention here please. Thanks.
