So this blurry picture is supposed to serve as proof that a Nigerian "drone" took out a boko haram tank? When did Nigeria start operating UAVs? Where did they get it from? A country that barely has a functioning Air Force, all of a sudden possesses the skills & technical know-how involved in carrying out drone operations? Does this sound plausible to anyone? 3 Likes |

Aigbofa: Lol. It looks like a truck...and the video looks doctored as well. As for the drones talk: using military drones isn't even as simplistic as this. Especially a country that has never had drones, then overnight, they're bombing folks with drones - hysterical. Or perhaps, Israeli and French forces are out there helping them with drones, that's the only plausible thing. Nigerian Armed Forces with armed drones? - bwahahahaha. If truly the u.s drones are still in Nigerians airspace we need to order them to take it out immediately.What is the use in flying their drones in our airspace when they cannot capture Bokoharam movement on several attacks against villages in the north and alert Nigerian security,or even strike them.I believe they have an ulterior motives. |

If the Nigerian Military is finally gaining the upper hand in the battle it's something that needs to be commended and celebrated. However, I can't help but wonder how Boko Haram got tanks in the first place. Some high class ineptitude on the part of NA must have been involved. Btw, for those who think that flying a drone is something beyond the capability of Nigeria, this is not really true. Becoming a drone pilot is as easy as playing a computer game. It is easier to train a drone pilot than a jet pilot, it takes as little as 50 hours of training and a lot of it can be done at home (or anywhere else you have a computer). |

That was no drone strike, if you watch the full video you would see it was a Nigerian Army tank that fired that shot on a boko haram soft body truck.. yes a drone was recording from above.. this video is not so recent |
