Hey guys, I need help. I want to flash kitkat themed Rom on my friend's Tecno P5, so since he hasn't done CWM b4, I flashed one recovery image by , but the phone wont boot into recovery. It will just show Tecno, for it to show recovery mode, it would instead reboot. What might be the problem?

it's s ROM for all mt6572 just follow the instructions and flash the patch after flashing the ROM, its what I'm using now, did your previous ROMs still bootloop after restoring boot image??

lemme try downloading it first....any bugs?

there are two variants of p5, old and new OS. You don't use old OS files on new, and vice versa. If you read the guide properly then you would've seen the recommended method we asked that you use. use it and it'll fix your current recovery mode issue

It is the old P5. The first one that came out. Not the P5 plus. So how can I go about it?

check the thread @ our website where you downloaded the CWM recovery image. you'll see a link to the recommended method @ the top. read the first few lines carefully.

the lib files in the ROM are corrupted so if you're on loudspeaker the audio is real poor, and the link opens only in recognised browsers while requesting for a desktop site, try it on chrome or Mozilla preferably from your pc
