I asked you because you used 'millions' to qualify when one is ready to marry.

Do you even know what marriage is by-the-way or you think it's something one just jump into because he made some money?

You are still digressing. Most Igbo men will use their financial status as an excuse not to settle down in time with a lady. That is why I made reference to their millions.

If they were not ready, how come they were having kids with these women? Why did they not marry them while their mum was alive? They did not because the old woman objected to those relationships, in no uncertain terms.

Now that she is gone, they have gone to pitch their tent with these same set of women...

I've come to a conclusion that all these attacks are to forbid Igbos from marrying from within.

Why would others want to marry Igbos?

An Igbo man would very likely going to be a middle class income earner and they are reputed to adore and lavish affection on their wives? Which girl wouldn't want that?

An Igbo woman is reputed to be beautiful, loving, very hardworking and supportive of her husband financially. Most importantly, an Igbo woman is less likely to cheat and less likely to divorce than most others. Which man wouldn't want that?

Now they all want us to abandon our own so they would profit from our good traits.

Some Igbos are good no doubt... To find the good one is the problem... They behave alike. I kept on telling them that since independent Igbos have been singing the separatist song...they seem never to be at peace with everyone.. Now they are still at it... Na only them... It shows something must be fundamentally wrong with them to fancy genocide and treason as a way of life.

They consistently draw hates to themselves by arrogantly extolling falsehood. People will never trust them because they don't care about what they think concerning their bad behavior...

QED.

To me, this is no big deal. My parents had no right to decide for me a life partner. I was dating an ijaw girl for 3 years and everybody in my family loved her so much. On the fourth year we were making plans for my marriage and in that same year she got pregnant for my friend. As usual she said it is the devil. I had no choice than to leave her with the devil. Now my parents are now bringing in the logic y we don't leave our teritory when we wanna get ourselves a wife. But the choice is still mine to make not theirs okay?

Now it is money and having kids out of wedlock, why not ask Flavor N'abania why he is still unmarried to better understand ones reasons?
Or is it Flavor's mum that is preventing him from marrying too?

Oh, they had millions, had dropped hit singles, played to sold out concerts at home & abroad and could afford to live in luxury before their mum passed away. So why didn't they marry these girls, when she was still alive?

There were issues with both ladies, now.. How come the guys were now suddenly 'ready', after they lost their mum who had opposed their relationships in the first place??! shocked

Stop writing rubbish and blaming their mother as if u were there.

Nobody is making funny insinuations. Some of us actually know these girls and what they went through, before they eventually got married to P-Square.

Anita gave birth to Paul's son more than a year before she married him. Lola Omotayo gave birth to 2 kids long before she tied the knot with Peter. If you do not have the inside gist of what went on behind the scenes, consult those that know and stop drawing up funny similarities with other people, where none exist. sad

Can you give your daughter or younger sister this same advice?

Just asking.

My would be daughters will never have friend's that will be more Catholic than the pope.

They will be sensible daughters capable of handling their relationship issue's when any arises and not the issues that only exists in the figment of the imaginations of a so called friend.

Don't understand honestly how this sort of thing happens still in the 21st century, and it saddens me when you still see people uttering bigoted comment " Igbo people are these and that" Yoruba people are that and this. If it were the opposite scenario , people would say the same thing with the roles reversed, because people seem to be unable to realize in general that besides mating, the outward appearance of a human is basically meaningless and means nothing in regards to peoples actions. I have lived in many different location and I've realized that I could care less about what you are and more about who you are. I've had friends from different ethnic groups, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Efik, Ijaw and many others. Some of them look different, some of them talk different, but the only thing that mattered in the end was that they were nice and intelligent people. The mind is the only thing that matters in the end, it has nothing to do with the color or the accent. Yes, some groups may have gained a reputation as a result of the actions of a few, but it really comes down to "A person with these values and mentality would do this" and "A person with these values and mentality wouldn't do this". There are selfish and morally wrong people in every single ethnicity and in every level of every race, that is the way of the world. If you base your opinion of a person on their appearance, that you are basically looking at the cover of a book and deciding its not worth reading.

My point has been made, but you have refused to see it because of the strange mindset that you have.

It is NOT a norm within Alaigbo, that Igbo people marry outside their tribe. It is the exception. Chikena! shocked So deal with it.

A lot of other tribes also marry within their tribe. To each man, his own.

Half of the Igbo population don't live in the south east. So don't bring any alaigbo talk here that you don't know crap about.
