Tyson Beckford is not tall, (6 feet at most) his mean face & body was his selling point.

Height plus face will be ideal, you'd stand a much better chance but if you have one very strong feature that compliments your weaknesses, then you stand a chance.

That guy may not be successful on the runway but he could do shoots for top brands, that's if his face is sellable. The problem is; there's probably a million better looking black aspiring models out there.

Erm, I just checked again, and that doesn't look like Tyson Beckford's twitter. Regardless, you have to be at least 5'11 to start dreaming about being a Tyson Beckford and killing the runway - the industry is too competitive.

Also, Tyson Beckford was discovered on the streets of New York, and he blew up cos it was the era of super dark-skinned people in the model world and he had all the qualities required. Times have changed lol.

Lol the fashion industry is one of the hardest to break into. The odds are stacked up against that guy, so it might just be an illusion but never say never.

I've seen some funny looking guys & girls doing it big time. They call Tyson Beckford the only black male supermodel lol it's funny because I could go out to oxford street on a weekend & pick out 10 black dudes who are taller, more chiseled & better looking than Tyson Beckford.
