..Well, I remain an advocate of change but not the kind of brainwashed change we hear these days but sructural change. The centre should be weakened and the component parts strenghtened.

God bless your realistic way of thinking. As long as godfatherism exists at such magnitude in Nigerian politics, there is little hope of getting a selfless leader at any level in Nigeria
The difference between GEJ and GMB is while GEJ has disposed of some godfathers who were milking the country dry, GMB has gained their backing, along with those he had before, and is planning to bring the whole lot to the feast if he succeeds. Considering that this has been going on for a very long time, and that Nigeria's chief source of income has fallen by 50%, this is very bad for the economy.

Then why do you have to comment on issues in such a mischievous way. Those children needs Good education and everybody in the Government is at fault whether state or federal. No one should be left out.

The Bauchi governor is just like the entire ibo race who do not see anythg bad in Jonathan's administration, but desire continuation of his failed transformation agenda.Nigeria will be very peaceful if this set of greedy slaves can be allowed to go their own way.

PDP is a failure in Bauchi state. Isn't it their governor who promised to win votes for Jonathan?

Bauchi people deserve a change!!

Gej is a virus that penetrated and destroy the immunity of every sector of the nigerian education sector , it can no longer tackle infections like , poor school facility, poor student performance, poor teaching standard, inadequate funding, senseless industrial actions etc , this virus escape treatment scheduled on 14th of this month. An anti virus that been tested, proven, and trusted in the late 80s ,90s and still active today has been remembered and it will be auction on 28th of next month there4 use ur PVC smartly to purchase, store it and use untill all the infection unleashed by gej is treated and no new cases reported. .

GEJ did not cause this, neither did the incumbent governor. It has always been this way. It is the indigenes who have been slow to embrace 'western education' that created this situation. As long as education is not a priority to the north east, then this will continue. Most of the money from the north east are used to going to hajj and performing other meaningless religious 'duty'. You can take a horse to the river. But you cannot force to drink the water. Tafawa Balewa will be turning in his grave as I write. Don't ask me who is Tafawa? Another picture of my breakfast at Drupal 2015. Today is the last day. I will be back in Lagos on Wednesday.

I disagree with u, it's the sole responsibility of the state Govt to build, maintain and renovate secondary schools in they states, but PTF is a jus a way the Fed Govt use to assist state Govt in some selected schools. It's the responsibility of the state to manage the states allocation/resources in such a way that every sector within the states gets a fair share. Example is Rivers State, if u have travelled or lived there in recent times, u will notice that the Rivers State Govt built the best primary/secondary schools in the country with all the modern day amenities/accessories u will find in most foreign schools, without a penny of PTF, SURE-P or any other intervention fund.
PUSH1:
There is what we call polices by the FG and that alone affects the state govt. what are you saying? Was PTF not able to renovate schools at the state levels? Some state govt allocations cannot meet up wth all the need of a state. What is GEJ really doing?

This is not a case of PDP or Jonathan but has to do with ourselves. The local govt has allocationo also is the state and more so the federal. So ask them what do they do with it. If the schools in the south west can be maintained to an average levelthat even there's still complain about some of it then what happens to this ones?? The problem is just that we Nigerians are the problem of ourselves. Government starts from our various homes and if everybody does his or her rights and duties then Nigeria will be a better place. The school that that community is situated has a principal, councellor, local government chairman, house of representative member, and a senate member too and not to talk of a state government. So what are they doing? What impart are they making in their communities or they're just sharing money as usual. The problem is not about the president who ia at the federal but the state on it's own.

But they had all the chances to transform that sector when they ruled for almost 40 yrs.

who is to blame? I guess GEJ as usual but remember the school has been in existence before GEJ even became President.

This is not good at all.
For a region where only a few value education, it is expected that those who willingly show interest should be provided with a very conducive environment to learn so that they don't get discouraged.

Even if the kids don't mind (complain), this is not an optimal learning environment. It will take more effort than normal to learn under this condition.
Nigerians aren't even asking for "optimal conditions". What they demand is "bare minimum" or at best "modest" conditions. This situation, sadly, cuts across all states of the federation. But yet, it seems that is too much to ask.

There are some places with conditions not even good enough to raise dogs, yet they put humans there and assume they would learn something.

And to think the current National Chairman of PDP presided over this state for 8years!!
This is really sad.
