Raiders:
Nigeria is not safe for expatriates. In the north, there is risk of being killed by boko haram while in the south, you might end up being kidnapped. An expatriates cant live his life in peace and must always have police security.

^^^Phew!.....That's a relief!!

Was half expecting to read: 'while in the south you might end up in someones pot of soup'! lipsrsealed

Based on all d reasons cited , OP isn't far from the truth.. Our views can be different but there are far better plces in ibadan Dan dis brown roof plces(we are talking about a mega city in Nigeria and not USA or England). Haha, Joke.. If Ibadan is the most liveable city in Nigeria for expatriates then Jigawa, Yola, Ebonyi, Maiduguri should follow!

It is glaring. You really don't know your hometown. You can claim Ibadan, though. Talk about benevolence and Ibadan
Re: Most Livable Cities In Nigeria For Expatriates by Nobody: 10:12pm On Mar 06, 2015
Op has forgotten to mention what the expatriates would be doing in Ibadan. Its not all about having shopping malls, estates and recreational centres. What these foreigners care about is where they can site their multi-billion dollar investment...where they can invest and get food returns for their investments... the technicians look for where they can be gainfully employed and enjoy that fat five-digits-dollar-salary.

On the one hand one may say this is transparent rubbish clearly doctored by the OP to big up his town Ibadan. On the other hand one may say there is nothing wrong about lieing about how fantastic Ibadan is if it attracts people there to live and invest. OP should also go and work for the tourism board of Ibadan as he's trying as unconvincing as he is I still appreciate what he's doing.
I think the OP should just change the topic of the thread as it focuses on only one city.

No harm in show casing Ibadan but, that place still falls way behind many cities when it comes to livability.
