so am gonna send through post right? Cause WAEC says they can't give it to me by hand and its usually sent directly to where I need it.

Yeah. Go to Waec head office with #20k+(to be on the safer side)

You will be needing a letter of attestation either from a clergyman, Imam or from the Court.

Also, An affidavit. Both should cost you nothing less than #1k.

You will pay for the original result and send via courier. Depending on location and the choice of courier. FedEx is #9500 to USA and Canada.
Chase is #8250 or so to Canada.

It would take approximately three weeks for it to get there. Waec will have to verify the result and all. If it's Waec Nov/Dec, take with you your original Certificate!

I just received an offer letter from UAlberta now with financial support of 22,000 dolllars. and I have I have applied for study permit/Temporary resident visa from an offer letter from MUN worth 15,500. Please what Shd I do? should i wait for the result of my application with MUN or I withdraw my application. Pls house I need advice here

Why would you withdraw your application? Once you get your visa, you can change your DLI in your cic account.
you can always change your school as long as you have your visa.
you can also check the cic website to give you further info.

It really depends on the finiancial expenses for a year. But i'm sure it would be Ok since you would be given a work permit and not solely depend on your sponsor for everything.

No, the school would just request that you send them an email containing all the infos they need. Cos the real deal is for them to confirm your details and result(s) from the WAEC data base for authenticity. But why don't you mail someone in the school probably the admission(s) officer and let them give you the guideline. I hope that helps, God bless.

Hello guys and ladies in the house,

Could you kindly help suggest colleges that would grant admission to a 33 years old adult. His academic qualification is a Diploma he got in 2003 from a Nigerian University. He applied to Selkirk and Lambton colleges for Diploma, Advanced diploma and PgD in Business Administration but was denied admission because he has a study gap of over 5 years.

Please is this clause of "5 years gap" thing applicable to all colleges and universities in Canada?

PS: I actually suggested that he send emails to other schools to find out if he could be admissible, but I'm actually wondering how many schools he would end up sending emails to.

Please anyone that has overcome a similar challenge kindly respond. Would sincerely appreciate responses from the house and from experienced peeps.

One love house!

Mohawk College gives admission to people much older than 33 altogether.

Age is not a barrier and the gap in between his last education till now doesn't matter. The school will normally ask for info on what he's been doing since 2003;its left for him to let them know what he's been up to all this while.

Is there anyone successful candidate that used SOA from an uncle alone?

if you have been denied visa in USA for close to 10yrs and you since moved on( then I was applying for undergraduate), is it advisable to complete it the part f the form that asked if one has been denied as NO or YES?

please I need your advise

Thanks

Beloved brethren, Canada and USA are two different countries and 10years is a long time. If it were Canada who refused you a visa in the past I would ask you to tick "YES". Since it isn't Canada just tick "NO" jejely and move on. You don't expect CIC to go investigate the US Immigration data base just because you're coming to study. Tick "NO".

my course has an option for optional co-op program. this would mean i would apply for a coop work permit at some point and work to make money.
should i include it in my sop that i could work to reduce the pressure on my sponsor.

the duration for selkirk is 2years (and its eligible for 3years postgraduate permit), its estimated at 22,000candollars. I can afford 23,000dollars or maximum 25,000dollars if I defer admission and earn more. Macewan uni is also 2years, and. Might be eligible for part funding. (Total is 36.000can dollars).
