Ucheosefoh:Does it mean that it is mostly the Niger Deltans that were used for slave trade. Yoruba too bears English name mostly, check out Funsho Williams. |

njuwo:Did I mention slave trade please dont misquote me, my point is that Niger Delta people are the people most likely to bear english surnames especially Ijaw tribe I dont know the reason but what I observe is that they adapted to the foreign culture easily. note not all of them bears english surnames |
