I used God is good motors, the one at iyana-ipaja. Almost all of us were prospective corps members then so d journey from lag to kaima was fun. Also agofure goes to bayelsa. they have a park at ojota. just remember to tell d driver you'll stop at kaima junction.

I was informed of some people at LASU called nysc movement. They take corp members directly to camp. They're charging 6050. Isn't that too much? Or could it be because of the fuel scarcity?

of course, its expensive. the only reason the nysc movement ish is cool is that u get to meet ur fellow corps members n possibly make friends before you get to camp. But like I said earlier on, I used God is good motors...booked online, paid 3100 n out of d 15 passengers, only one man wasn't a corps member...

OK. Did you spend much getting to camp after you alighted from the vehicle that took you from Lagos? And was it difficult locating the camp?

nope...from kaima junction, I took a 50 abi 100 naira bike(not sure again) straight to camp...

There is no body that I know that serves across water that have paid a dime for accomodation because accomodation is not an issue here. In my PPA it's one corp member to a room and that's one of the advantages we have over those serving on land. Life across water is cheap as you don't get to spend much but there can be challenges of light and may be network, depending on where you are posted to. And may be loneliness !
