It will not be surprising to witness the introduction of Saudi Arabia-style Sharia police on the streets of cities and towns throughout the Nigerian federation, once former military tyrant Buhari begins his RULE over the hapless country, and his true fundamentalist agenda begins to unfold in practical terms that may well be enforced by battle-ready soldiers empowered to arrest or "neutralize" those deemed to be "offenders" in any arbitrary respect.

The home-owner who sold his trusted guard-dog in order to afford the purchase of a guard baboon will surely regret that decision, in much the same way as those who voted for "change" in Nigeria's most recent presidential "selection", will most likely wish they hadn't done so, when they start to experience that "change" first hand, and possibly at gun point.

Nigeria is not a country of prosti-tutes either. This country is a religious country. The government spends several millions every year sponsoring political pastors and alfas to Israel and Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage. Dressing half nakked on the streets in not our culture and way of life.

I disagree with your assertion. The country is for the religious and non religious alike. The government is a secular entity. There is no provision in the constitution, that says citizens must affiliate with any religion. That our politicians misappropriates our commonwealth to court favors from religion organizations by illegally sponsoring pilgrimages does not make us a religious nation.
The none dominant religions (none Christian and Muslim) citizens are being cheated out of these unconstitutional largesse given to these scandalous cults annually.

Shut up!! Where is urinating in public clearly identified by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria? Some of you sound so inane at times.

Buhari is well within his right to impose a dress code on journalists covering the number one office in the country. Aso Rock is the seat of power not a broth*el, it's authority & significance must be respected at all times, and that includes maintaining decency within its premises... That's how it should be, that's how it is in civilised environments.

From your comments, you're obviously less exposed so allow me to enlighten you a bit. Suits are typically the dress code in official settings such as this, ladies skirts shouldn't be above knee level, no exposure of cleavages,..... These are just a few benchmarks I can think off.

In civilised countries, journalists covering government residence are usually well and decently dressed, as a matter of fact, failure to wear the appropriate dress could see a journalist barred from entry into the premises or pass revoked.

That you lack the ability to comprehend arguments is an understatement. Tell me, How can you determine who is properly dressed? What parameters do you use?

PS: And I hope you've not been abusing some mind-altering substance, where in my post did I talk about urinating? Are you responding to my post or some other member's?

Gosh you're so daft, i sarcastically mentioned urinating in public, hoping you'd realise the folly in your statement.

As for the parameters, lol I seems like you're the one with comprehension problems because I gave you a few in my second paragraph. Go back and read it.

Nigerian journalist

This is why i love CNN - CNN would have put it this way, Buhari may introduce dress code for journalist, not this one i see here, he hasnt even addressed it, its his over zealous aides, Plus all my life i have never granted interview to any journalist until one day as i was going through ikeja then this lovely journalist stopped me, till today i still dont know why i stopped but i knew those exposed booobs got some supernatural powers that kept me standing throughout the question and answer period.

Baba dont let them confuse you with those booobs, same way Seyi Shay wore pants she called short dress to visit Jonathan and GEJ had to cross his leg throughout the 1 hour interview to prevent his kingdom from rising up . baba pls ban anything that would make you mis focus
Lol!

If you can't hold out your arguments without using foul language, that neans you're just an idiot with no point. If you abuse me, I will reply you in kind. You have no monopoly on cursing. Since you have no manners, it's not worth debating with you. I'm ignoring you henceforth, fuckhead.

In keeping in with Nigeria's recently acquired status as a fundamentalist republic, I would like to suggest that female journalists be BANNED from so much as engaging in their profession, while the operating of cars and aircraft by females needs to be BANNED also, in order to hide away ALL individuals found guilty of belonging to the female persuasion. Similarly female doctors and nurses must be BANNED from working in medical facilities, where they might come into contact with lustful single men. Special religious police must be formed by the new government, for the purpose of beating the crap out of people on a purely random and whimsical basis, just because it is fun to do so.

As seen in other DISPLEENED fundamentalist jurisdictions like the Saudi Monarchy, Nigeria's women must be declared persons-non-gratae, who will only be permitted to venture outside their family homes under the close observation of a trusted family member authorized to carry a whip to maintain order during such highly regulated, chaperoned outings.

Finally, under the laws of the incoming CORRECTIVE regime, failure to grow a FULL Bin Laden beard by ALL men resident in Nigeria, should be punishable by prolonged public whipping sessions for first offenders, with more serious penalties for unrepentant repeat shavers of facial hair.

Sank you, pellow Kwantiri-Man. God bless Nongeriya.

So the top priority of this incoming administration, with ALL the problems facing us as a Nation, is the dress code of female journalists?? I am seeing it now so that nobody will say one is talking with benefit of hindsight, this govt will be a complete and unmitigated disaster. Buhari has NO concept of how a modern country should be run. El-Rufai was quite correct in his damming analysis of the man years back, but of course now, for political gain he changed tone. No wahala, many of us warned the 'Change' manics but they did not hear, so now we dey watch, beer in hand (until the Imam bans alcohol!!)
