Congratulations on your invitation. Well, before you start feeling like your people are the Einsteins of our time and are being punished for it, know that NDDC SCHOLARSHIP runs on a quota system.

What this means is that every state has its quota. The quota from what I understand is largely dependent on oil production. Based on this, u can't expect an Akwa Ibom or a Rivers to have the same quota as Imo.

Because Imo state has fewer slots, it's only natural that their cut-off be higher than States with larger slots. Are we together?

that is not true. 2years ago the cut off mark for rivers and delta was higher than abia and bayelsa. I think invites have not been sent for engineering courses.

My friend scored 44 Environmental Science - Rivers - still hasn't been invited. Could they be sending by date written? He wrote on the 11th on Monday

the problem with that reasoning is that people with lower marks than urs from ur state for those posted here seem @ ve gotten invites. The selection process has a lot of holes. I get the quota stuff but i think it should be clearing stated so that all these assumptions of how many per state is clearly defined

I want to wish all those that have been called up by nddc for oral interview goodluck. For those they're yet to invite, please and please be patient. For instance, I and my younger bro scored 35 for Msc in Engineering and we're from Rivers. He's been sent an invite on sunday, I've not been sent an invite. It then means that they're sending the invite on batch bases, so if you scored 35 and above, just like me, you'll surely get an invite----Patience is a virtue. I'm not worried at all cos I know they will surely invite me for the orals.

Venue: Hotel Presidential Conference Hall 2, Port Harcourt. Come along with your local govt ID, NYSC cert, Degree cert, Admission letter, WAEC cert, international passport, driver's license or voter's card and other documents used during your online registration.
