That's not true. The thing is that we always have hectic courses, sometimes two in one course. The worst part is that they will just attach two Units to it. We offer about 10 courses per semester of which 6 or more have practicals. We read, we really study, just to get a brief overview of the course and carry along with the lecturer but when exam mode is activated, our brains become sharp like a razor blade, we cover a whole course in a night before the exam, this is what we can't do ordinarily. But exam mode is real. It is great.,..,

I'm in Computer Science but I can totally relate. You underestimate how long it takes you to go through one topic, especially if you want to study it thoroughly.

Again, as an Engineering student/graduate, stop making inconclusive deductions. How do you know they are in the minority. There are people that don't study until last minute and perform well and others that don't perform well. As an Engineer, you shouldn't make such statements unless you can back it up
If you study and pass at the last minute as you say, its either you are of above average intelligence or you got lucky studying parts of the curriculum that eventually featured inf the exam. Either way you're in the minority. Most engineering students are hard workers right from day one.

Funny enough laplace transforms are actually easy. The problem is that once you miss it or develop hatred for the principles from the beginning, then it becomes difficult to catch up. Those people that you see in class that breeze through those problems are not geniuses. They simply understand the concept. Trust me, laplace is as easy as algebraic sums if you understand the concept.

This is great, having gurus advice me smiley . I do know that Laplace transforms should be easy. However, I am still a bit behind. Like you said, I am still familiarizing my self with the basic principles, partial differentiations, differential equations . . . . Er, actually, I'm one of those guys that never stay on their own level. I'm actually an aspirant. My goal now is to be able to perform a Laplace transform before I get admitted into the university. If a can achieve that, PARTY TIME! grin grin

Totally true...

I had a night life in school back then... so I can't afford to read at night... although... I rarely miss classes... and to be frank engineering is just about understanding the concepts, formulas etc... Most formulars are hidden in the laws themselves... which makes engineering fun...

I'm sorry... if you study day and night... without understanding engineering... even if you make first class... I'll get a job before you...

In theory you can explain how a wankel engine works... but to put it in practice is shit... that's why Nigerian graduates are not employable outside the shores...

Engineering has never been about jacking 247... understand the concepts behind computer, mechanical, electrical, engineering... and you might not read a lot as some of them them use to...

Afterall... with una jacking sef... una never hammar reach Bill Gates...

LMAO!! IT IS! ROTFL. Yet some how we maintain high gpas.

But actually it's more like:

10 days left 10 chapters to go, 1 chapter per day
Day 1: Read half a chapter
Day 2: Read two more pages
Day 3: Take a break, there's still time
Day 4: Finish first chapter (YES! PROGRESS!)
Day 5: OMG 5 days left and 9 chapters to go, I can't finish this shit. Don't read. Take a motivational break
Day 6: Chat up friends to make sure they're behind as well. If they are, don't read, if they are not read half a chapter
Day 7: You get the first of many questions from a friend asking to explain something, but know absolutely nothing. Take another motivational break.
Day 8: Two more days after this. Start thinking of how to rationalize time. Convince self that in fact the first chapter you read took only two hours so you really only need 18 hours or 17 and a half hours now. Take another break. you'll continue tomorrow. Deceive self that you will wake up at 6am prompt the next day to clock in your first nine hours of reading during day time. Watch a series, and sleep by 4am the next day.
Day 9: Wake up. reconsider (you really only need 18 hours and have 48). reset alarm to wake you up by 9am. wake up. reconsider. turn alarm off completely. Wake up at 4pm feeling like a well rested baby then....freak out!

Day 9 night: rush to library, read another chapter in 7 hours(YES! MORE PROGRESS!). go back to watching series an sleep at 4am again.

DAY 10 (GEN GEN!): wake up at 11am and completely freak out! call up friends, stack up on "exam provisions," red bull, sugar rich drinks, coffee, and caffeine rich drinks. Buy tomorrows breakfast. Prepare the reading zone, make sure rechargeable lamps are charged, make space for everyone, invite the efikos, and begin the almighty all nighter at a rate of 1chp per hour if you're lucky.

This is the sage way of an engineer.

*modified*
In case I lead a young engineer astray, prior to this the whole semester is spent paying attention in classes, doing all coursework, and reading.

HOW TO MAKE NOTING LESS THAN #120,000 IN LESS THAN A MONTH IN NIGERIA

THIS IS THE MOST RELIABLE AND STRAIGHT FORWARD ONLINE BUSINESS/JOB EVER THAT HAS HELPED THOUSANDS OF NIGERIANS, AND YOU SHOULD COUNT YOURSELF LUCKY FOR GETTING HERE

NOTE THAT IT IS TOTALLY FREE, NO HIDDEN CHARGES AT ALL.

AND THIS JOB IS MEANT FOR EVERYBODY AND YOU DONT NEED TO BE AN INTERNET GURU BEFORE YOU CAN MAKE MONEY HERE.

A lot of Nigerians has searched in one way or the order on how to earn a

living in Nigeria (make good money) because of the lack of job opportunity
in the country, and I’ve been in that position before until I was able to
make a way out for myself with the help of God. After a long search in
the internet trying and failing, wasting much money, I found a genuine
and legitimate way of making money in Nigeria.

Let me go straight to the point.instead of waiting for Nigerian government to provide jobs for me, i started this business making nothing less
than #100,000 in less than a month. Now I make close to about #150,000
in a month. The little secrete is this, I found a place online where there are
millions of employers looking for individuals to do some jobs for them.
These jobs include writing articles and essay on various topics For their
adverts, website or blog.

After registering for free, you would be given the opportunity to add your skills, which includes all the things you can do online like writing, web designing, auto cad and many more. you can add a maximum of 20 skills and a minimum of one. Don’t worry even if you don’t know how to go about the skills. stuff, the E-book guide will teach you everything you need.

after setting up your account, all the jobs in the website, that are related to your skills would appear on your dash board, so its just for you to go there and select the suitable ones and do them and get paid. here, there are millions of jobs waiting for you. SO DON’T BE SCARED, THE JOBS DON’T GET FINISHED.

NOTE THAT YOU CAN SET THE CONDITIONS OF THE JOB, IF HALF OF THE PAYMENT SHOULD BE PAID BEFORE THE JOB IS DONE OR NOT, TIME TO COMPLETE THE JOB AND LOTS MORE. SO IT DEPENDS ON YOU.

A 500 word essay goes for about $10 dollars and
you can do this in less than an hour simply by copying from Google. And you can
write up to 5 a day, that is 5 x $10= $50 in a day depending on how serious you are.
Approximately #10,000 currently
in Nigeria. Multiply by 30 days in a month. Imagine how much you can make
from this business. I get my cash paid directly to my bank account here in
Nigeria no stress.

The most important thing is that there is no registration fee, everything is totally free to set up this
business.
Therefore I have spent the last 10 months putting these A-Z steeps together
on an E-book to save you your time and stress searching for
how to make it in Nigeria. It all depends on your determination to work.

THIS E-BOOK CONTAINS ALL THE NECESSARY INFORMATION YOU NEED FROM SCRATCH ON HOW TO START UP THIS BUSINESS/JOB.

THE A-Z GUIDE GIVES DETAILED INFORMATION ON;

HOW TO REGISTER SUCCESSFULLY ON THE SITE FOR FREE

HOW TO SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT

HOW TO CHOSE AND ADD YOUR SKILLS

START DOING THE JOBS PROVIDED

AND MOST IMPORTANT HOW TO WITHDRAW YOUR MONEY DIRECTLY INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, NO STRESS!!!!!!!!

THIS BOOK COMES WITH ALL SCREEN SHOT TO MAKE EVERYTHING AS EASY AS ABC….

For this reason, the normal price of this E-book guide is #5,000 but I am giving out this guide for as low as #3,000 for now, to make it affordable by almost everybody and also add some value and seriousness to this info. therefore i urge you to get your copy now before it returns back to its normal price. For those who are interested, you can call me or wats app me on 08131876569 or e-mail me on popoolajoel4@gmail.com in order to put you through. I
am also willing to give special teaching to these persons. For those who also
have any question, you can also inbox me or call me on 08131876569.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE SCREEN SHOTS OF MY EARNINGS

We never do last minute reading, we study from the first day of the semester because it's quite demanding being an engineer.

Engineers work so hard in and out of school, you read until you stop practicing.

I still read alot.

I waited till the last minute to do some assignments in school not because I didn't start studying on time but because deadlines may be clashing. Sometimes we may have 2 or 4 assignments or tests at the same time and this can cause backlogs while studying.
