There were several players that made APC win the national elections. The Buhari factor, the Tinubu factor, the Atiku camp these are 3 major camps

If Buhari camp produced number 1, Tinubu produced number 2, Atiku cant just sit down there after bankrolling the party and let them share everything

As you know Bukola is the Atiku leg of the tripod

When you are going to the center and unseating a sitting president, Alliances and concession would have to be made

I think this was to checkmate all 3 gladiators so one part wont have overwhelming influence on the other

Aint magic hombre, the body that ran the report, the Football Observatory, is a research group from the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) with staff 'specialised in the statistical analysis of football'. They have undertaken research for FIFA and UEFA.

This document www.football-observatory.com/IMG/pdf/mr06_eng.pdf considers the following before coming to monetary value:-

• Player's age
• Length of contract
• Level of personal achievement
• Clubs achievements and results.
• Performance

Once all the calculations had been done, Hazard came in second ahead of Ronaldo and behind Leo Messi.

Their transfer values being worked out at:-

• Messi - somewhere between £255.3 million and £280.8 million
• Hazard - somewhere between £135.4 million and £148.9 million.
• Ronaldo - somewhere between £113.3 million and £124.7 million.

IMO, age, performance and length of contract are probably areas Hazard owned Ronaldo. Although the latter tend to find the net more, his general performance hasn't been sublime. He kinda suffered a dip in form, the goals are merely serving as a compensation.

Funny enough, a seasoned forum analyst believes that Hazard isn't among the top 20 players in the world, listing mediocres like Boa-TONG ahead of him cheesy

And like I said in my previous posts. Their performance in the biggest matches and their titles won is an alibi for that. What is Hazard's alibi? Don't tell me age because all the people you guys love to compare him with were either Champions or had at least made impact waaaaay before his age

I would name 20 players better than Hazard easily. Go and watch Barcelona and see how Rakitic makes them tick.

Bale with 17 goals and 11 assists from open play is regarded as a flop this year while Hazard with 19 goals (5-6 penalties) and 13 assists is being hailed, that simply tells you the difference and who is held at a higher standard

The other players are self-explanatory I wouldn't even bother with that. Lewandowski, Mueller and Benz are not Eden Ikedia's mates

Mueller is playing in an era with Ronaldo and Messi in their peak. Even the Balon D'Or is now so infatuated with the latter two that they win the awards in years they don't deserve it.

Guys like Figo, Romario, Rivaldo, Cannavaro even Zidane might not have 3 WPOTY if they played now

We saw FIFA give Messi Golden Shoe award when even his countrymen unanimously agreed he didn't deserve it.

Sneijder was the MVP in world football for 2010 he didn't win it.

Ronaldo finished trophyless in 2013 but still ended up with the award. I don't care about personal laurels so long as Mueller wins Euro's next year to complete the sweep of winning every major title that's good enough for me

Muller is one year older than Hazard. He was 5th in Balond'or at 25. Hazard would be 25yrs by the next Balon D or ceremony.

WHat Muller has achieved by 20 Hazard hasnt made it by 24

I was done with the argument last week. Maduks88 chose to engage me and brought forward a decent argument so I saw no reason to ignore him. Hazard is not a Bayern player so why should I reroute arguments to the Bayern thread? Its a Chelsea related topic

UEFA counted assist for tevez & messi but opta did not count it for them. i think it won't be long when there would be a universal rule for what constitutes an assist. if a player is brought down in the box that resulted into a scored penalty, EPL counts it as an assist but opta does not.


There is no confusion. You are the confusion.

I think you should take my advise I have given you over time that you should be consistent with your source of Assist data (whether OPTA or EPL/EUFA) and stick with it throughout the length of an argument, and even if you were to switch from opta to another, you should make it very clear that you have switched.

It doesn't make sense after having used opta for several pages, then I say 'PLAYER A' has 12 Assists, you will come to say'player B,C,D,E' have 18 Assists each without stating the fact that you have switched from opta to grandnut and kuilikuili data.
