It always amuses me how Nigerian players and their fans ALWAYS pray to God for victory before any football match and yet they almost ALWAYS get defeated by countries who don't even believe in God. 56% of Germans don't believe in God, when Nigeria plays Germany Nigerian players pray to God and still get defeated by the atheist Germans. 82% of Swedes don't believe in God YET Nigeria (with all the prayer and 'nacking' their heads to the ground) could only manage a 3-3 draw against them and celebrating like they won something. Nigerians lets ask ourselves some serious questions about God and football:

1. Germany is the current world cup champion - when was the last time you heard the German coach mention God in any of his press conference?
2. Spain was the former Champion - when was the last time you heard the Spain coach/technical team mention God?
3. Messi/Ronaldo are the best players in the world - when was the last time you heard any of them mention God?

In general, lets ask ourselves some serious questions about God and reality:
1. Bill Gates is one of the richest men in the world - when was the last time you heard in mention God?
2. Denmark, Norway and Sweden - have the highest standard of living in the world and they are mostly atheists. What has God gotta do with it?

Paint me a picture,
a timeless picture,
a picture of me over the years,
since the day I first arrived here, were you there?
My ups, my downs,
no, not those dark moments,
they will bring tears to my eyes,
come to think of it, why not,
those were my finest hours, although tough, yea very rough,
but they taught me a lot.
They taught me never to give up,
they taught me that I would always be stronger if I could just get back up,
back up and believe that it's not over yet,
no, not when I still have a vestige of breathe, so wait, do you remember that it was then,
that I Iearnt that there's strength in perseverance,
I learnt the magic of tolerance,
I discovered who I am,
I first fell in love with who I am,
and now I am loving being who I am,
because this is who I am, so I will do all I can, to leave my footprints in the sand of time,
so, paint me my portrait and don't leave out the flaws,
is it oddly eclectic, what about yours?

You people should stop consoling yourselves with a nearly impossible task, our girls had proven to be a disappointment
De best result they can get is a draw, but I still hope tomorrow will be one of those days de impossible are made possible

Not going to deprive myself of sleep to experience another disappointment

But if your choice is not working shouldn't you consider a change? Nigerians have been praying to the Christian/Muslim God since the days the white people were running our governments directly. Yet the white people are prospering in EVERY way and Nigerians are suffering and dying in their millions? Self reflection is important in life - and if your enemy give you a gift that he does not use himself then maybe your enemy gave you a bad gift to make you inferior to him.

Err, I tried to watch female football and that shiit sucks more nuts than super-head.

I thought watching African football was terrible, but female football makes African football look like the best ever. And I watched Germany vs. Norway and USA vs. Sweden - quality teams.

I guess I'll have to stick to only female tennis and perhaps volleyball. grin

Yes ooo! Time to kill a giant. And since our boys have crashed themselves out of one World Cup, it's time to back our ladies in full. Let's go there! And if you support the women, time to get feminism right. Here's how - http://thenakedconvos.com/radical-feminists-causing-harm-good-society-review-concept-feminism/
