Sudanese President Omar Al -Bashir has left South Africa in his official
jet just as a South African high court took a short break to receive
information from South African state lawyers over its interim order
asking Mr. Bashir to remain in the country.

Diplomatic sources in South Africa revealed to reporters from the BBC
that Mr. Bashir left his hotel for the Waterkloof Air Force Base in a
Black BMW car and immediately departed the country under tight
security.

Mr. Bashir is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) over
allegations that he committed crimes against humanity in Darfur.
President Bashir denies the allegations claiming that the ICC was set
up to hunt down Africans.

Sudan’s Minister of Information says President Omar al-Bashir has
now left South Africa.
The case on request to arrest him for alleged war crimes, however,
continues.
Bashir, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, was in
South Africa for the AU Summit.
Details later…

Yes, the President as committed many atrocities, but it is unjust for SA government to hand him over to ICC on their own soil...if ICC want him...they should arrest him in SUDAN...grin
American soldiers did worse in Afghanistan... Iraq and the likes, not a single soldier has been prosecuted by the ICC...scallywags!

If they're so desperate of arresting him, then they should go to Sudan and see what becomes of them.

Nice! I hate his criminal a55 and i wish for justice to take its course but i'm against any African country handling their own brother over to ICC. ICC know how to get him if they want him.

I hope it's true he's flown back to Sudan safely. Omar Bashir committed war crimes against the Sudanese people and that we're aware of. But Obama, Francois Hollande and David Cameron also committed war crimes in Libya and Egypt. Benjamin Netanyahu keeps bombarding and massacring children and women in Palestine and they are all yet to face trial on war crimes. Africans are not puppets of the West and we must reject their political influence in Africa.

Al Bashir escape, two things are involved. 1. His hiding in SA or 2. Zuma helps with his escape.

South Africa and ICC is a disgrace.Bush overthrown Afghanistan govt in search of Osama bin ladan. In the process killing people.what has ICc done about that.

The dauara dullad promise to investigated amestsy international claim of genocide in North east Nigeria. So in the process of fighting boko haram if the former chief of army staff is indicted he will be send to prison.why amenstsy international can neither fight BH or bring them to book.
