Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir, who has been ordered not to leave South Africa by the Pretoria High Court, is still in the country but will leave later on Monday, his spokesman says, Reuters news agency reports.

"President Bashir is still in Johannesburg but we are leaving South Africa today," Mohamed Hatem told Reuter

Exactly my thought. I don't think SA has the "Liver" to hand over Bashir to ICC. It would create an African crisis that would know no bounds. In other news

South Africa's government is expected to oppose in the High Court today a request to arrest Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir for trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on genocide and war crimes charges.

Its lawyers will argue that Mr Bashir came to South Africa at the invitation of the African Union (AU) - not the government.

It, therefore, cannot detain him and he should be allowed to go home a free man.
