I was Having a chat with one Yoruba boy this evening.

He said "If he gets married and the wife does not conceive as years pass by, he would divorce her" I just shook my head.

Here is inviting all Literature enthusiasts to Scribespad online writing community. It is a first of its kind in Nigeria founded with the sole aim of giving writing and reading a new face and changing the misconception that writing as a hobby or profession is boring.

N.B- The site is Mobile friendly. *USERNAME should be at least FOUR characters/letters long. It can be more than four but it shouldn't be lesd than that.

Scribespad online writing community is an all encompassing community (writing, reading, a platform for socializing, talent exhibition and discovery, giveaways, exchange of ideas, learning, fun, exchange of messages, discovering new talents, increasing knowledge, enlightenment etc).

Registering (which is very user friendly and absolutely free) and becoming an active member gives you an edge over a non registered visitor to the site as you get to see and experience all the benefits of being a member.

Apart from socializing and getting acquainted with other members, members can win exciting gifts like books and airtime top-ups on a regular basis depending on how active they are which will be well reflected on the LEADER BOARD.

Members climb up the leader board by earning points, points are earned each time you carry out an activity on the site like unlocking the newbie badge - registering, posting a story, adding a friend, creating and starting a discussion, updating avatar, uploading a file etc.

Another good side of Scribespad is that you can have your own personal page if you are already a known person or if you think your stories are good enough to have their own spotlight. All you will need to do is contact the admin at info@scribespad.com or add up the admin on scribespad and send a message to the admin. Your request will be reviewed and your page comes up on any Group you want it to be in the Writers' pad.

The writers' pad consist of several groups which represent various genres of literature. A member can choose to join one or all of the groups and their sub/random groups and share their great stories. In each of the groups/segments, there are discussion icons where members can click on to create and start discussions pertaining to the particular group where they started it. For example, if a member wants to start a discussion that is relating to Fiction stories, such a member will go to the fiction group and join if he/she hasn't joined that group before, then start the discussion. If the member doesn't know where his/her discussion would fit in, then he/she should go to the miscellaneous/uncategorized group and start the discussion there.

Members can upload files (like articles, Novel, pictures etc) directly from their systems or phones to scribespad online community for other members to access.

Once a member shares a post, he/she can share it to friends on multiple social networks by clicking *social share* underneath the post.

With time, we shall organize contests/competitions as a way of promoting and strengthening the writing and reading culture amongst the teens, youths and older youths - Scribespad is open to all age groups nonetheless.
