Thanks

At this point you have to wait till you're called for medicals.
The medicals are either done before you submit your app I.e upfront medicals, or when you're called/asked to do so, it can't be done inbetween or during the app without a request to do so.

I would say between 10-25k for msc. Your next question will be which school is cheapest in canada and my answer will be check each school's website but I heared memorial university is pretty affordable. Takecare

Chairman, I noticed you mentioned MBA once or twice in earlier chats. Did you do an MBA? If so, please what are the prospects of MBAs in Canada? This thread seems filled with engineering peeps which gives the impression that engineering is the main or only thing booming in Canada? Can you shed light on this?

Brosses @Siga, @GboyegaD, @Solo8
Your thoughts on this will be highly appreciated

Hey, you can still do your MBA. I personally think it's not worth the price of what you pay for it but that's my opinion. MBA used to be hot back in the day but I don't think it's currently the case.

Engineering is not the only thing booming in Canada. Those of us with Nigerian roots just get cohersed into that stream at an early age.

Solo8 I disagree with you on "does not worth the price". I did an MBA and must say all my class mates got hired from internship. I mean they got really good gig. I'm a living testimony Bro.
A few got gigs as marketing managers at Rogers, a couple got the RBC rotational program, a couple got Scotiabank international development program, a few got into imperial oil as territory manager, remainder got gigs in siemens and stuff. So, it's worth it and I will do it again and again and again and as well advise everyone to smiley

Advice me @Solo8, @mevisbleek nd others. I've got Bsc in Fisheries mgt. Got admission for global business mgt in Conestoga college. I'm wishing to do MBA but my parents are recommending I continue in my field till PhD, which is better... PhD in fisheries related program or MBA. (I actually have flair for business related programs)

Parents like pushing they're kids to do phd cos they wanna use it as bragging rights in the midst of their friends. My mum pushed me so had to do phd cos she wan brag for august meeting. Don't get me wrong phd is lovely if u wanna become an academia. I would say it depends on ur person and career goals. The Labour market is stiff right now and phds with no work experience end up doing postdoc at 40k/yr for a long time.

My advise: finish from Conestoga, get some work experience then try to get into a strong school for Ur MBA Eg Queens, university of Toronto, schullich business school, Richard ivey school of business etc after that u will be posted to some sexy company for internship and if God helps u like he helped me u will get hired on. Work again for a little while and if u still have the craving for phd u can do that part time while working.
Trust me, don't just rush from school to school to school without experience pls.

Wow congratulations for been accepted into the best college in Alberta. Woo-hoo. You must be very smart. First things first you have to pay the $250 to secure you seat in the program, have you? FYI: if you are starting in Sept the last day to pay tuition is August 4, 2015. My cousin also got admitted and I'm help him with the movement.
Second, you would have to apply for visa, this might for be daunting for you because you have to go back to part 7 and read to ascertain the necessary documents. Once u done reading gather ur documents and apply for visa. If u have specific questions at that time you can come back and ask them on this platform.

SAIT is good,my sister is coming to SAIT too for fall semester, you have to hurry with you document gathering.I went to NAIT tongue grin smiley

Ok then. Do you believe agents will be necessary or do you think I can do these things easily on my own? From the work permit to the Visa.

Agents are like lesson teachers. Some students might want while some won't. If u think the process is convoluted for you then go for it if not there are people on this forum to assist u.

Please what school/province did you do your MBA in? And the jobs your classmates got, were they all within the province where you schooled or some got jobs in other provinces?

Ok bro. You have been so helpful. So can I go ahead with the work permit or the $250 payment comes first?
