I had to go back to read his post, it was then I realised that with the type of grammatical blunders he was spitting, he can never be qualified to write OAU post UTME not to talk of gaining admission.
Professor of English. read through once again and point those out because if you allegedly graduated from that school, then, i'm open for more surprises bolo!

U appear to be so dull and ur school didn't help ur case to improve. So u mean if rain doesn't fall, d students won't get water to do anything? And did u also say drink? That's a ridiculous thing to say.

Well, FYI, dos guys u see stay on d 2nd floor of d male hostel and they are probably getting dat water to clean dr toilets afta using it. There is constant water supply @ every angle of all hostels. Get ur facts right b4 spilling things
looks can be deceiving man, go get your glasses. But, before you go, don't deduce like a mofo again yea?

I find this unbelievable. I graduated from OAU in 2007 and throughout my five-year stay as a student, I never saw anything like this. Water and power supply were constant. There was only one instance I remember there was no water and to tell you how strange it was for OAU students not to have water, even though it was in the middle of the night, ever progressive, ever conscious, ever militant OAU students mobilised themselves and rushed to the water authority office and when we discovered the workers there were confounded and helpless, we went straight to the VC Lodge where the VC (the amiable and respectable Rogers Makanjuola ) attempted to address students but his voice was drowned by students shouting "go to Awo Hall", that is, the political headquarters of Ife unionism. Rogers had no choice than to go to Awolowo Hall where he explained the anomaly and pleaded with students to be patient till the following morning. By now it was already 2 am. True to his words, the following morning, just as we were preparing for lectures, there was water.

Professor Rogers Makanjuola, I respect you. We need people like you in politics. Dr 3's, Comrade Olawoyin (aka Revo) ex-presidents of OAU Student Union I am waiting for you to lead this country.

I have been to so many universities in Nigeria, including a reputable Federal University in the South South Region where I did my Masters degree programme but the bitter truth is, there is no school like OAU in Nigeria. Where do you even begin? Is it academics, structures, infrastructures, international acclaim, student unionism?

As the saying goes, there are only 2 universities in Nigeria - OAU and the rest! No exaggerations.

i dont see what the big deal is in fetching rain water, many people will do this even if they have tap water.

is it by force to do everything like abroad? Its illegal (i think) to fetch rain water in some places overseas.

However, its not illegal in nigeria.

And what's so special about getting rain water??
The speciality is their standing and holding the bucket till it get filled. They feared if they should leave that spot they are, they prolly might not get a space or rather, their bucket and water will disappear.

No biggie.

We need to get it right. That's all. That paper certification they are chasing is a result of the need in nigeria. Many of them are there for a piece of paper, others bare in courses they have no interest in. ( not specific to oau).

We need to become innovative in this country not dependent. We cannot grow like this. The time has come to fly fall get up and fly again.

In other news I saw olukayode celebrating his winning the court case in money laundering this a.m by posting pics of a nice lunch and his gf also in the same Vienna disowning his daughters wedding. On the same page two young boys arrested for defrauding a white woman.

Olukayode's case took 7 yrs to finish, u wonder how long these boys have.

We will only get better when we realise its us and them not Hausa vs Ibo vs Yoruba.

In mj voice " all I want to say is they don't really care about us"
