Warriboy21, applying for a marriage-based visa would require that two individuals be legally married. That being said, engaging in a fraudulent marriage for the sole purpose of immigration is illegal under U.S. law and can result in further refusals or even being banned entry to the United States. The best option is to choose the visa route that accurately describes your purpose of travel.

F1 visas are intended for students to complete their studies at U.S. academic institutes and won't grant you a green card anyways.

@LagosNIV, Is there a penalty for illegal deportation?

Also, I want to know if there's human right with regard to the US visa.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Spaghetti, cheese and macaroni are one-way straight ticket to getting fat in this country. I ate lotta spags last semester at our school's diners (my job comes with free meals, all I need do is order my food at Subway, Chic Fil'A, Aunt Anne's, Sbarros etc. and swipe my student ID card) and I started noticing I was putting on weight, so I have stopped eating that one.

When I go to subway and order my favourite BLT sandwich, I tell them not to add the usual cheese, before person go fat for this country joor. Its so easy to put on weight in this country.

Feel free to raid my fridge anytime any day! cheesy

Gaining weight is the easiest thing... And when winter came it made it worse because I was hibernating half the time. grin
I had this favorite burger place here in Miami called Elevation burgers...they could build you a burger the size Mount Everest. Like play I added almost 20lbs. I went and got running and basketball shoes before I fully become like Slimmy grin
Pasta is one thing I'm not sure how to stop... It's super easy to cook and you can't go wrong with it.

Thanks for the landing clearance to raid yo fridge! Lol

There is usually more to these cases than is posted here on Nairaland - I have seen that from the transcripts of my own interviews posted here.
Each time an individual re-applies for a U.S., their case will be reviewed again. It is extremely important that you answer the VO's questions honestly and not attempt to conceal any information; any VO reviewing this case will be able to read detailed notes entered by law enforcement officers at the border and will undoubtedly ask about being turned around at the border. Whether this or not this leads to a refusal is dependent on the circumstances of the individual case.

Roger!
We appreciate your inputs.
Thank you for your service!

Look forward to hearing from you.

There are penalties outlined in the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act for both illegal presence in the United States and for removal by law enforcement during illegal presence. There is also the fact that any VO reviewing your application will have to determine whether they believe an individual who already has a history of breaking U.S. laws can be trusted to use any visa in the future appropriately. As difficult as an individual's circumstances may be at the time, the best option is to avoid any problems by complying with the law.

All applicants are given equal consideration under the law; visas which allow you to cross international borders are a privilege, not a right.

Hello House,

I intend to apply for Studies in the US and don't know much about it as I just started this thread. Can anyone advice me of whcih cheap Schools that Offers a program in Accounting or the relevance?

Note: I have an IELTS result 5.0, PTE 49 and I have WAEC result. Please advice me with Schools and the possible requirements and other steps.

Thank you in anticipation to your response and advice.

5.0 in IELTS is too low if i am not wrong but you need to get a school that accept 5.0 although most i have seen starts from 5.5

Are you going from Undergraduate or Graduate course

Exactly, you got it right on the issue of deportation. Same thing happened to a colleague of mine at work, he's Indian and the brother came visiting with all his school's transcripts, certificate and some loan certificate he got. He told me his brother was sent on secondary inspection and that's how they detected his intentions.

Boss, how's work? its not been easy here o. I thought working longer hours was that easy grin I sleep now like a polar bear.

Sounds funny grin grin grin
