Well, when I started using hair relaxers at 7years in the mid 80's,the lice disappeared. Almost every female with virgin hair had lice in those days. Then we didn't know much about relaxers unlike kids of today who hardly keep virgin hair.

I was afraid of clipper so much that every trip to a barber feels like circumcision.


That's a part of my childhood I do not want to re-visit. Guys are trying abeg.

Hate that Clipper with passion... the wicked barber always gives me a knock on my head each time the freaking thing hook like 3 strands of hair... and he go pull am... pretty much uprooting my hair... and if I flinched... he gives me a bad knock ... kai! This is the machine baba ebenezer used to barb our hair with in those days reavelling the ekusa on our head. Used to cry my eyeballs out under this tractor.

I REMEMBER THAT YORUBA OLD BABA WITH TWO LARGE FRONTAL MASQUERADE TEETH WHO USED TA BARB ME IN EARLY 80S WHEN I WAS JUST A BOY. AND NOT FORGETTING HIS ROTATING BARBER CHAIR.
