You guys should stop this religious bashing now. This my post is meant for the Atheist. You doubt the existence of a God abi, "A little knowledge of science makes you an Atheist, an indepth knowledge of Science makes you a believer in God"-- Francis Bacon. The Quran says God created the earth in 6 days not 6 days literally but 6 cycles, which supports science view on creation. The Quran talks about photosynthesis, mind you this quran were revealed by Angel Gabriel to a desert Arab at that time didn't have any access to a library, cos there were non in the entire Arabia, this same Quran talks about two waters that meet but does not mix, very sure you know what am talking about. This same Quran describes how you and I were formed in our mothers womb. This and so many more are found in the Quran. Lastly this same Quran talks about prophets jesus, elijah, david etc that Muhammed (SAW) never knew of. Infact look at your body and the way it works yet u claim ders no God. The epiglottis is responsible for making sure your food enters your gullet and not fall on top of ur lungs etc. As for happenings in the world around you. My brother and sisters we are the best of God's creation because he gave us a "WILL" to make our choice, would you have preffered to be like the animals who know nothing who have no will. This is not the first time I noticed some bible verses are actually saying the opposite of another. Isn't the gospel supposed to be preached in one accord? I first noticed that Jesus Christ actually turned water into wine(alcoholic wine not fruit wine cos my Yoruba bible says "oti wine" which means Jesus somehow endorses wine. In the same Bible again I saw in Galatians(can't remember the chapter and verse), where the fruits of the flesh were listed, drunkenness was listed also.

Another thing that ultimately made no sense was the whole Old Testament/New Testament conundrum. God actually changes his mind? In Leviticus, God lays down a bunch of laws and calls them “everlasting.” Then in the New Testament, we suddenly hear this:

For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second. —Hebrews 8:7

Another one was when God brought a sheet unto Peter which contained various four-legged and two-legged animals and beasts of different kind, then God told Peter to arise, kill and eat. Peter refused saying he cannot eat unclean things, God rebuked him by saying how can he(Peter) call the things He(God) created unclean?

And later I read another verse where God outlined the forbidden animals, birds and beasts we should not eat.

they dont contradict if you know and understand that the bible is not a literal text but is symbolic and allegorical. for example if i write a story in 2 different books of the bible and the message to be gotten from it is that buhari is a saint. in one book i can say buhari stumbled on 10,000 naira and returned it to the owner. in another book i can write the same story as he stumbled on 20,000 naira but he returned it to the owner. to the unenlightened who reads the bible literally this is a contradiction. but the message from the story is the same and is what you need to extract from the symbolic story which is ' buhari is a honest man '. thats how the bible is written. it is not to be taken literally.

I always say this the contradiction in the Bible are too many. For starters the old and new testament are two different subject matters. Abeg make I no start if not we no go finish
