It is called Aro where I come from. We dey chop am when we still dey little. Very delicious. Anytime wey rain fall like this, na so we go go for hunting.

That thing you called AKU is called ESUNSUN in Yoruba lalanguage. You are inviting cancer if you don't stop eating those insect you called food.

Wooow, this is called 'Lolowa' in Okun language (Kogi State) all you need is a little salt
Sometimes we eat them raw as well

i was going to eat these fried temites in akwa ibom state years back, but i had to stop, there was this temiterium built on a grave, just before thier nuptial flight, the indigenes of "idorikpe" where digging for termites, the termites were found all around decaying bones, yuck! From then i vowed never to eat that stuff.

Hunted it, caught it, fried it, ate it and shit it..


Good stuff..

Only available rarely during the rains when new termites come out to make their bones..
