The staff of office of the Oni of Ife was used to represent him at the wedding of his son, Adegbite Sijuwade to Dolapo Oni last weekend.

The Ooni of Ife passed on July 28th in London, although authorities and prominent Ile-Ife personalities insist the Oba is alive, and is hale and hearty.

Meanwhile, Despite the denial of the Oba’s death, report says that the body of Ooni of Ife, Okunade Sijuwade, had arrived his palace in Ile Ife, Osun state.
