I started the application process tonight but am yet to pay which i will do tomorrow morning. After filling the form, there is no place to select either full time or part time programme type. Judging from last year and the fact that 2014/2015 session started lectures not too long ago, entrance exam will be by October, admission towards November/December/till even next year while lectures will begin towards May/June.

Morning, I don't actually know the school fees for civil engineering. Yes you can do menial jobs. Accommodation price ranges based on several factors like the type (self con or single room), the area/environment etc. So there is no fixed price for houses in Benin but roughly from 60k to 140k (just an assumption)

I actually left my own blank (based on d advice of a professor in uniben) because I only worked during my NYSC service year and no other time.
I can't say if Dere will be exam for ur department although uniben will Inform us in due time as to those writing exams and those not writing

Yes you can. M.Sc students tend to restructure their time-table and the lecturers understand that there are workers in the programme.

Bed-sitter 80-120k
Self-contain 120-180k
2Bedroom 200-250k
3Bedroom 250-350k

Someone told me the other day that the tuition fee is 240k for engineering.....but I don't believe it. I will go get my form by early September,hope its not too late? Thanks again

On the issue of transcript again, if this explanation os not clear then I dont know how best to put it to you sir.
1. You can submit to school now, nobody will beat you but....
a) if after submitting now, then they cant locate your transcript next year in PG school during clearance, it means you have to go process your transcript again for your former school.
b) what if an applicant is not offered admission or he gets a better choice of course in another school (some persons apply for M.Sc in different schools), you cant retrieve the initial transcript submitted. This means you will have to process again for the fresh school.

2. You can choose to come with your transcript during clearance, nobody will scold you for this.
A lot of students opt for this cos some persons transcript were misplaced.
Uniben PG admission process takes between 6-8months. So keeping transcripts for this duration, and going to sort them out later on by some lazy staff, or moving of documents from one office to another could make transcripts misplaced. In the end, the applicant is told to bring a new one which you know will be submitted by hand to whosoever is clearing him.


So the choice is yours sir. Cheers!!!
