Your "domestic animal" is still a dangerous animal that can kill and maim without any reason other than on inbred instinct as a wild but tame animal. Remember, your Alsatian dog, "bingo" or jack" is a tame Wolf that can turn around and maul you or your loved one to death in an instant. Sound qualitative education is priceless, spend some time and money to acquire it for better understanding of the matter being talked about.
like seriously? You show me any of the animals you mention than could kill humans like a python do by constriction? Have you bothered to research on how python even kill fully grown adults simply because they are hungry? A dog can be wild doesn't make it a wild animal, as aggressiveness could be part of any living creature at a time, its like saying a turkey is a wild animal because it could be aggresive at times..

Please you should at least consider the trash you are saying before spewing it.. how on earth would u even compare python to an asatian dog? Let's even assume the python is domestic, would u be so careless to let it go after you see its blood thirsty? I will just leave u but u should be the one to do more research about what ur saying as it makes no sense

the ignorance you people are sharing is not good o.
African pythons are dangerous small or big. one bite and you are gone (dangerous mouth bacteria and inward curve teeth.)
how ever we should try and protect these animals or else one day you children will ask you what a lizard is and you will take them to the zoo.

I shudder at the thought of me trying to reason with and educate someone with such immature and underdeveloped mind like yourself,. Yes, there are laws protecting wildlife in Nigeria. The problem with the country and its citizens is that the enforcement of such laws, like most laws in the country is next to nothing and is exactly why there's pervasive wanton lawlessness everywhere. Please educate yourself, and learn more about issues before jumping headlong into drawing conclusions. I would gladly protect and redirect such harmless and magnificent creature elsewhere where it poses no harm to man where it can live and breathe the same air in peace, just like you, a one-grain brain ignorant buffoon . By the way, I live in a country and society where nature and wildlife are admired and valued for their beauty, and the enrichment of the lives of the people and society as a whole.

I bet these hungry niggaz just pounced upon the snake without knowing it was a python - a non poisonous constrictor...
They could have returned it to a nearby wildlife sanctuary but then again , a hungry crowd is an angry crowd angry angry

Seriously? where is the " nearby wild life sanctuary" located? Nigeria can't even provide sanctuary for it's people and you are talking about sanctuary for animals. Well, good luck with that.

When u go to most of our zoos today, most of the snakes u see there are not as big as the one they just killed. The idea of killing the snake for the sake of the stomachs of a few people isn't palatable. It would have been better off in one of our zoos.

pythons kill by constriction, they are heavily built with muscles that can shut even a human's circulatory system, thereby leading to death.

Harmless?! you should google people killed by pythons...Adults are deadly constrictors. This one will easily kill a child and eat
Majority of python deaths result from pythons who are kept as pets by careless owners.
