NLNG, I know you get info from here. Please just get back to everyone, we don't really care if the resumption date is second quarter next year, just get back to us, thanks.

Seconded!

Though I will love to resume ASAP, if it is possible.
I have been caught in two minds for such a long time. It has just become unhealthy.

"Patience you will definitely know after this experience"

Some people may have realized by now that 3 weeks from your assessment centre day as communicated by NLNG is like a recorded voice message.

You most likely will hear from NLNG in November telling you result has been compiled and sent to management for approval. Management is going to approve some candidates for instant employment and wait list the others again hopefully in December.

Sauce? You still asking!

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials (NLNG recruitment) knowing that the testing of your faith (the suspense of the long wait and not knowing the outcome) produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (getting the job, experience, money, wisdom and all). James 1: 2-4 smiley

NLNG, this is pretty basic now. This is similar to having everyone who had the shl test with their status unknown till this year May. Just release this result.

If the wait is really till November like some have speculated, then we are in for a very long wait.

Meanwhile let's keep the thread busy. All the steady lurkers and those with 'sauces', please comment.

The wait isn't funny. Infact as someone here says, "This patience will wrought out perfection".

However, the wait can be worthwhile. If you are currently working, be absorbed in your job. If you work in a team, this would be the best time for your team member to go on a vacation, so that you take over his job. I bet you, you would realize how short one week is.

If your current job isn't very tasking, get a book and read. It could range from any best-selling novel, to any educational journal.
Just keep busy, and please do not become lackadaisical about your "boring" daily routine at work. At least it pays your bills for now.

Please note that this is not recommended as a solution TO ALL for the long wait. It might work for some, and not work for others, or not even work at all.

The key thing is, JUST KEEP BUSY.

Cheers.

You didn't address those that are not working.

Even if it's just 20 of the almost a thousand who are completing their masters this September, we are boxed into no plans. It's crazy for those of us. No school, No jobs at the moment, can't plan for long engagements; even interviewing for other jobs I'm appropriating NLNG values upon them. Just do this thing and get it over with.
If you're ordering the fine china to be in the Bonny apartments or organizing armored vehicles for ferrying us through PH city, that's secondary. Just send mail, Mr lagbaja sorry better luck, Miss lakasegbe congrats, wait for further info, shikena. This has been on since October 2013. I've been prepping for interviews since then.
Please, just finish this thing.

If you are not working, you can look for anything of interest and volunteer your time for it apart from looking for a job. It could keep you engaged.

I personally detest the act of being overly pessimistic to show an air of fatalistic thinking. Do you know increasing the market share in the gas industry is the main goal of the company over the next few years? Show empirical evidence or signs of Inferential thinking with whatever you say here especially this delicate period. During the wait for invites in March, I forecasted invites after handover way before the follow-up mail, that was Inferential thinking.
Please don't come here and form the thing no dey pain me so much.
I might have ranted, but I haven't cursed.
