The traffic is only caused by the Yoruba area boys collecting egunje.
Kill them all & you will see the traffic moving smoothly.

It's surprising that the moderators have finally come to their senses. I don't care if I am banned but truth be told, their should be a total 'overhauling' of the moderators on nairaland. undecided
I once raised an alarm on this road early this year...before the elections and begged that it should be moved to the front page may be somebody at the top might hear about it and take action but nothing was done. The topics that make front page are sex, gossips and topics that make no meaning to life. Those who comment on it did not help matters. All the pro Goodluck emptied their anger on me. Their was a particular guy who denied all and said it was a propaganda...even with all the pictures I pasted as evidence!!! That was before it started to rain!!!
Now, it's worse than ever. I have lost count of the accident on that road on a daily basis. As I write, it's a total hold up from Bode-saadu to Jebba...so pathetic.

You have spent a day on the same spot in tbe bus and you still don't want to exploit other available options.

If you have the CASH and LESS LUGGAGE better come down take a bike, pay the bike man whatever he charges, get down where the hold up has cleared off, take another public transport and move on with other things in your life. You will probably spend same amount on hotel bills, food and STRESS! No time to waste! I trust myself!

[b] I have seen this before but this kind of traffic jam happens "once in 3 years here"( I was told).
I can't imagine moving from my departure point since 1pm yesterday and still here 3pm today. The traffic is actually on the road since yesterday. It is locked, no movement!
This road is a death trap, I can't imagine why it has been neglected by the government since this while.
This is the state of the sitting president of the senate and yet, it has not even been mentioned.
I've gotten to Ilorin since 9pm yesterday and as I type this my point is still bode saa'du(3:03 pm)
I know the some government officials pass through here, pls its now a problem. we can't bear it. just come to our aid ( not all of you fly).
This traffic is from olooru( Ilorin) down to jebba and its been locked. no movement!
I'm just stranded here, can't bath, can't eat good food and not even fine ladies... ( scratch that last, I'm no womanizer ).

Yes, which of the schools are you serving there because I served there also. That place is so dry that I pray daily for my service here to end.

You should have taken theat KP express road which is still good and traffic is not a problem there.

@op I advise u brace up. It could get worse especially if u heading as far as Kaduna.
I travel that route at least once in every 3 months. That route should pass for the worst in Nigeria.
I feel ur pains seriously!

I know that school but I served in Al Amin. The proprietor refused to employ teachers but corpers then, he pays #2500 per month and a lot of corpers were fighting to serve there. I do laugh now when I look back.

I never bothered to collect the salary because I wanted the man to know that Corpers are not hungry but rather we deserve respect. A money that can't reacharge my phone.
