The South South and South East remains Nigeria's hotbed having produced many successful private sector technocrats in the past like Dr Ngozi Nkonjo Iweala, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, Pat Utomi, Charles Soludo, etc. It is now set to produce the few technocrats in Buhari govt leaving the south west - the only zone that survives on government money - to produce politicians as ministers. South west names likely on buhari list includes Mr fayemi(ekiti state), Mr babtunde fashola(lagos state), prince oyinlola(osun state), and a host of other old and recycled politicians who have no known achievement outside politics.

Though buhari promised to appoint technocrats but this is not possible to find in the south west where the demands from politicians is overbearing on him.

As buhari's ministers await saraki's approval next Tuesday, Nigerians keep their fingers crossed waiting to know the taste of old and new wine mixed and served in old bottle.
