Madam why not go through the right process and adopt a child maybe someday sun will shine on your family. All this baby making factory are always crude and criminal. Apart from that you can get arrested as an accomplice if government agencies discover where you bought the baby. Don't let desperation push you to the very wrong places

Will adopting a child stop people from mocking you? Or you plan to deceive everyone you got pregnant and birthed the baby naturally?

I understand the need to have a child and protect your image from the public but doing so to please anyone is not the right solution. Adopt a child because you sincerely want to not for anyone who can't mind their fvcking business. In doing so, you may not love and protect that child interest like you'd the one you birthed yourself.

I think it's time we start living our lives the way we cherish and love without giving a hoot about what anyone think.

Anyways, good luck in your search for a child.

Baby factory like where they steal other people's children and put them up for sale to desperate folks ?

Baby factory like where they keep young naive girls, raaaape them to get them pregnant, sell the babies and give the girls nothing or peanuts.

As you wish others, let it be unto you.

Dear poster, I'm sorry about your plight. Pls read this post I just came across. Also, if adoption is too rigorous for you, try down south. For instance, it may be easier for you to adopt in Akwa-Ibom state you mentioned, if you hail from there.

Also, I know it's very difficult for you but try to keep your mind away from what people will say. People will always talk; no matter what you do or achieve in life.

I sent you a PM, please reply. All the best oh.

Adoption process is not tiring atleast in Lagos state, I know of rather most of the people that need a child are not patient and/ or genuine.

It's a long process because they have a lot of verification to do. The child stays with you forever so please don't expect anything less than 6 months to get it done.

Go to a registered orphanage home eg little saints orphanage, hearts of gold hospice, living fountain etc.

Talk with one of their in-house adoption personnel.

See the kids that are available for adoption and decide on the one you'd love to adopt.

Go to lagos state welfare and social services and register your interest, specifying the name of home where the child is and Childs personal details ( the home will provide u that)

The baby's file is pulled up.They'll confirm if the child is actually up for adoption or fostering.

Your details are taken and noted. You will be asked for lots of documents eg ( all your medical history, employment history, personal details etc). At this point, most people are found wanting or lying and are at best " told off" , some run away by themselves.

If you scale through the basic checks and everything is ok, more checks, impromptu physical visits to your home, office, counseling for you, hubby and other things follow. Of course, you'd need to pay a token at this point.

Adoption lawyers are involved, the state have theirs, you can as well get yours .

At this point, if you scale through, you'd be encouraged to visit the orphanage ore often to start bonding with the child, talking with the child's nannies etc.

More paper work, investigations, etc.

If all goes well, nothing will stop the adoption process.

So please, at what point did your adoption story become " frustrating "? Please share.

As I type this, I am in tears and depression.

I do not want insults or rebuke. neither I'm I looking for young people to comment. This is strictly for well matured minds, so if you're not well-matured, don't bother reading further.

I'm 33, hubby 44. Our marraige will be 8yrs this month.
No issue of ours yet. We can't afford IVF and still cope with its below 50% success rates. We've tried everything medical(except IVF). Gynecologists and Professors have treated us BUT as it stands now, we are simply tired of trying to conceive. We even took herbs too at some point later.
We also tried Adoption but the process is terribly discouraging. Lagos State is not helping matters on Adoption policies for genuine couples who are truly chidless.

We have suffered so much mockery, jests and insults from all parties(in-laws, friends etc).

I need sincere addresses of genuine baby factories in Lagos (if any) or anywhere in Akwa-Ibom. Also, I wouldn't mind any Eastern state in Nigeria.

I am simply tired of seeing my husband age daily with no one to call his own . It depresses me more when his birthday is approaching. We both feel sad 90% of the time.

Trying-to-Conceive is what I wouldn't wish my enemy.

Thanks for reading, I await your responses.

As much as I feel your pain op, I assure you that there is still hope for you. You will definitely have your own children soon whom you will birth from your womb and not adoption. you are only but one out of the thousand is same situation, please remain strong and keep faith.
Secondly I agree with ifyalways point, though it sounds harsh But it's the bitter truth. do you actually know what a baby factory is?? how they come about the babies they sell , what they do to the mothers of those babies and if the mothers willingly give up their babies for sale

do you know what curse goes along with those who buys babies from them. Please do not out of desperation bring onto yourself a lifetime problem you can not handle. my prayers are with you and joy will be yours soon. AMEN

Also, as I said earlier, I'm closing the issue of baby factory and sincerely pray for everyone who commented never to experience TTC in JESUS name.

I actually was terribly depressed cos my monthly visitor showed up after going missing in action for 4days. I was hopeful and happy since I never missed a period in over 8yrs of my life. Is when it came, I really needed someone to talk to and weep on. I'm sorry if I insulted or reasoned irrationally.
Thanks to everyone once again.

It is well with you madam, may God visit your home with His precious gifts. I know someone who adopted legally from an orphanage and it was as good as free. Takre

Have you tried Surrogacy Motherhood Nigeria for the option of surrogacy
Re: . by ifyalways(f): 5:55pm On Oct 01, 2015
So no one asked you for 500K actually, you just were not able to deal/ handle the adoption process. Thank you for clarifying that. I'm not a Lagosian per say but I am forever proud of the work of Lagos state social welfare office + registered orphanages ( little saints, hearts of gold, living fountain, compassionate orphanage, Red Cross Maroko etc) are doing in terms of adoption and anyone coming on a whole www to rubbish their good works with " half truths" better come forward with facts, not sentiments.

If you really want to adopt legally, I have listed the steps here for you.

Nothing good comes easy. All the best.

50% of cases of infertility are due to male factors, so it may not necessarily be because OP had previous abortions or whatever.
Always try to show empathy to others though, cos life can be funny sometimes. Have you done a sperm count yet? You should, cos you just never can tell..
