Happy teachers day
God bless all my teachers both physical n spiritual teachers God release more wisdom on you all..
Topic: A Great Teacher [Monday 5 October, 2015]
“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”-
Psalms 19:7
When you hear “its testimony time” in services, what goes through your mind? Is it just another segment of the service and story time—or do you utilize it spiritually and mentally; deriving lessons to receive the same order of breakthrough? Personally, I take testimonies as God’s way of saying to me, “I’m set to give you an even greater breakthrough than this. I am willing, I am able and I am ready!” I hope you positively adjust your thought pattern on them today and so, let me help kick-start that by sharing one of my testimonies with you. I pray that you draw wisdom from it for your own marriage.
There was a time my husband and I wanted a change of school for our children. We had already agreed on one, but I saw a different school which I thought would be preferable for them. My reasons were that the proprietor was spirit-filled and most of the teachers were Christians; so overall, I believed it would be a much better learning environment for them.
I told my husband about my discoveries, but he did not immediately see why I wanted that particular school; especially after we had both agreed on the previous school. Other than arguing my way out, I used my knowledge on submission and the weapon of prayer and told God that His will be done. A few days later, my husband willingly agreed to the new school I proposed and that ended the issue.
I could have chosen to argue my way to a favourable response but that would destroy peace in the moment, and maybe even longer. In the end, I maybe wouldn’t even have gotten that result. In essence therefore, you must realize that you don’t need to argue your way through things; you can prayerfully present your reasons and submissively listen to your partner’s view, while you both pray for the best choice.
Arguments, fights and disagreements are only loopholes for the devil to operate in your home; hence, you shouldn’t give room to it. You can always reach a conclusion peacefully, best done on your knees.
Remain Blessed!

From Ayobo, take a bus to Egbeda. If there is no straight bus to Egbeda from Ayobo, take a bus to Iyana-Ipaja, alight at Mosholashi Bus Stop and take a bus to Ikotun/Idimu. Tell the conductor/driver the bus stop u would be alighting and keep on reminding them ooo. You can locate the school from the address you have given. I hope this helps. Goodluck!

I can smell a scam from a distance. What type of venture will the fund be invested? When the return on an investment is too good to be true, then it is not true. But why are people trying to scam teachers? Is it because teachers are so gullible?

Happy Teacher's Day.....
I'm a teacher...................
Behind that doctor,
Is me, a teacher...........
Behind that economist,
Is me, a teacher..........
Above those astronomers,Is me, a teacher..............
I carry the light even though they mostly make jokes of me...........
But i am a teacher........
I don't qualify for a RDP house nor earn enough to buy an expensive one.............
But yes, i am a teacher...........
Some think or even say that i have too many holidays, never knowing that i spend those holidays either correcting papers or planning what and how I'm going to teach when i go back to school........
Because i am a teacher..,
sometimes i get confused and even get stressed by the ever changing policies by the politicians who have political powers over what and how i have to teach.......
Despite all that i am a teacher and i have to teach and i'm teaching.............
On pay days i don't laugh as others do, but by the next day i have to come with a smile to those that i teach........... Because i'm a teacher.........
The main source of my satisfaction is when i see them growing, succeeding, having all those assets, bravely facing the world and its challenges,
and i say yes i've taught inspite of living in a world opened by Google..
Because i am a teacher............
Yes i am a teacher........
It doesn't matter how they look at me,
it doesn't matter how much more they earn than me,
it doesn't matter that they drive while I walk
because all what they have is through me, a teacher.. Whether they acknowledge me or not......
I am a teacher........... .

I was very busy yesterday couldnt write about my day , am a teacher and very proud to and always be, always love to teach right from primary school.
My message on this day is simple
To our government that refuses to recognise teachers and pay them well, i dont know what will happen to education in future. When you are maltreating teachers and none of these children want to study education, none of them want to go into the proffesion, what will happen to our educational sector. you find out that is the none intelligent ones, that couldnt gain admmision or couldnt go for their desired courses that will end up studying education which means those people will become teachers, and you must be very intelligent to be a good teacher , becauese you cant give what you dont have and you can inpart in a child more than what you know, so think of how to motivate teachers so that brilliant and intelligent people will find reasons to go into the proffesion to guarantee a good future in our educational sector.
To my fellow teachers , try to do your work , dont look at the pay , the pay may not be good but their is joy in teaching, and try not to disciminate among students you dont know the one that will be of help tommorow, you dont know where the help may come from. Let me share the story of public teacher in lagos that she shared with me, with you, she said one day while she was coming from work, it rained heavily and she was at the bus stop waiting for bus, for those living in lagos you know how lagos bus stop use to look like after rain. No bus, every where rowdy , and the few available buses were very expensive, she was standing when somebody called her from a bus, she went to the bus and a boy just came down from a bus greeted her and told her to enter, she said the boy told her he is the head of agbero of that bus stop that he has seen her since but couldnt greet her because he was shadowing bus for her ( their slang which means looking for a bus for her) the guy told her not to pay and even secure a seat for her, he told her, she taught him in secondary school and he rembered how good she was to them in the class, and since then once she gets to that bus stop ,those boys always respect her and she must enter free bus, to her destination, because they all know him as the guys teacher, sometimes she will dodge so that it won't be everytime. I know some people will say agbero teacher, yes but he saved the day that day and Helped her, there is probability that some of those "successful " one that are working in big companies might have passed with their big cars without recognising or helping her. So make sure as a teacher to be good to every pupils and students that pass through you. Even when you discpline them, let them be corrected with love. Some of us still have the memory of some of our teachers that will cant forget forever, even those that used to beat us. Because when we grew up we understood, same with these kids, when they grow up they will understand.
Lastly to parent respect teachers, learn how to motivate them, dont talk or look down on teachers infront of your children. Dont discourage them from that proffesion, if you do and allow them to go for other proffesions , by the time they have their own children, i wonder who will teach them, the ones that are not too sound that deserve to be teachers according to you would be the one to teach your grand children and what do you think will be the outcome. Finally to all teachers out their remember the mediocre teacher teaches, the good teacher explains, the superior teacher demonstrates while the great teacher inspires . Happy teachers day to my parents thiugh retired, myself and all wonderful teachers out thier , i love you all.

From Ayobo, board iyana ipaja and alight at Moshalashi bustop, from there board Ikotun/Idimu and alight @ Carwash bustop. Ask for the school there or take a bike to the place.

Alternatively, you can alight at gate from Ayobo and board Ikotun/Idimu.

@Mummy123, at a time, there would be no motivation other than the cash. I have passed the passion level o!!!! Nice write up!!! But sincerely, my children can't be a teacher, a lecturer would be preferred. Yes, there are teachers I can't forget despite the fact I was stubborn.
Secondary school teacher

2. Mr. Ceasar( cannot remember his name)
3. Mrs. Mgbemena
4. Mr and Mrs Ogunsola

Ijlyriks has refused to say the name of the school. So that nairalanders won't come and take the position from her. People's mindset sha.

It's amusing when people need help, they quote you up and down for schools, when they get what they want, they chop clean mouth.

It is well.
