Will Igbos Take A Revenge On The Deji Of Akure ? by kettykin: 7:09am On Oct 22, 2015 |
Your candid opinions can be expressed, no insults please. This is based on the recent confrontation between the Deji of Akure and Eze Ndigbo in Akure where the Eze Ndigbo was derobed, beaten black and blue and flogged when he was invited for a meeting with the Deji of Akure. Will igbos with their vast majority network exert a revenge on the Deji anytime he is on a neutral domain or will igbos beat a retreat and eat the humble pie. Please discuss and again no insults. |

Bambless1: If the Deji of Akure steps outside his domain, some people could abduct, flog, derobe and beat up the Deji. No traditional ruler in the whole of the world has ever insulted the igbo race once |

If I were the Igbos in Akure, I would ignore the Deji. The constitution is greater than any Deji and it allows all Igbos to conduct their affairs any how they like as long as it falls within the ambit of the law. The Deji can only dictate to an Igbo man who inside his palace. Outside his palace, he is just another Nigerian. 1 Like |

kettykin: Has any normal, average or less Nigerian from other part of Nigeria moved to iboland to look for job or business? The answer is a big NO! Why would the Deji even want to visit a barren iboland of all places? Ibos still don't realize that Nigerians see no value in their land to want to live or move there! Even if the Deji went anywhere in Nigeria and ibos so much as harass him, we will simply kill all Ibos in Yoruba land and wipe off their remembrance from the earth! Note I said IF, so this is conditional. 2 Likes |

kettykin:The deji of akure did not insult the Igbo race what we have is an individual who formed a market union and decided to insult the deji of akure over the choice of a babaloja of a market. unfortunately the Igbo traders in the market have their stalls shut because of their alleged representative inability to solve or resolve issues peacefully. Now with the kind of mindset of the op.Imagine that this is exactly the MENTALITY PORTRAYED AT THE PALACE. Imagine the DELIBERATE INTENT TO INSULT,INCITE VIOLENCE and CREATE A PROVOCATIVE ATMOSPHERE. Obviously they will be chaos and what next is what you are seeing now! all of this because on an individual who lacked the skill of managing issues. 2 Likes |

kingzizzy: It is this manner (or lack of thereof), lack of civility and decorum when conducting yourself that always lands you into trouble, like the foolish goat that labelled himself Eze in a town that doesn't recognize such title. |

Sometimes i don't blame the yorubas for doing what they are doing, i blame the igbo leaders for still seeing this failed country as one and always loyal to it, if this kind of thing should i happened to an hausa man the in east, by now buhari & co would have made a treasonable and divisionable statements just to support and show there own love, if it happened to a yoruba man in the east by now their leaders, tinubu, fani kayode and co would have been jumping from one meeting to another and making statements that can trigger war even in a snap of a finger(all because they know that we are not one and can never be one, no matter how we pretend), but once it happens to an igbo man where ever he is, it's only his common people that will be speaking out about it, the so called leaders like Okorocha will be building a school in kano and others will be dumb and even deaf, have you ever asked yourself why they wanna kill this little Nnamdi Kanu? That tells you all you need to know 1 Like |

kettykin:Revenge whereThey wan die?in AkureThat will be suicidal ....and the effects it will have on other igbos in other SW states will be worse than the civil war. Come to think of it, why the need for revenge when they already decided to close their shops in protest?did the indigenes go hungryna the immigrants go suffer ?? Has there ever been an Oba of Yoruba in Enugu? The other day the first igbo in lagos parliament asked that Yoruba shouldn't be spoken in the Lagos state Parliament. Is English the only language spoken in Abia parliament? ??These people are just too much ,it "MUST"always be all about them!!!!!Making foolery everywhere they go. Yesterday we all saw a video of some Biafrans with "BIAFRAN" flags in front of the "NIGERIAN " embassy (what an oxymoron) in "INDIA" making threats of burning down the embassy in 24 hours.....in India oo.
