Wrong answer Sir........ *smiles*

He asked for the last u-17 (UAE 2013).

Ok... Here, lemme help u..... I know of Kennedy of Brazil (Chelsea), Nathan of Brazil (Vitesse Arnhem, loaned from Chelsea), Alen Halilovic of Croatia (Fc Barcelona). But, like seriously, do u know any oda? Where is Valmir Berisha of Sweden??

Nigerian players are simply making the "biggest progress" so far from the whole class of UAE 2013 for all teams......... And so shall the Nigerian class of 2015.

Bro, understand this..... A new ERA IN NIGERIA WAS BORN IN 2013 AND SUBSEQUENT EDITIONS (2015, 2017, 2019 and beyond) will experience a massive continuous outflux of Top talents from Nigeria going on to the "big leagues"..........

Honestly, like one "ENGLISH ANALYST" SAID SOME DAYS AGO IN MANCHESTER, "THE FUTURE OF WORLD SOCCER BELONGS TO NIGERIAN FOOTBALLERS......."

So many outstanding talents from Nigeria are coming through and making the moves to the "big leagues".......... E.g. Nacho (man city), Yahaya (Tottenham), Awoniyi (Liverpool), Chidera Ezeh(Fc Porto), Isaac Success (Granada, la liga), Moses Simon(KAA Gent, UCL campaigner), Wilfred Ndidi (KRC Genk), etc, etc, etc......

The Malians also seem to have an interesting pool of talents they can build on (adama traore-- mvp @ 2015 fifa u-20 wc, some frm this current u-17 team-- Haidara, Koita, Aly malle, boubacar traore and Fofana) BUT can't compare to Nigeria in terms of "SUPER ABUNDANCE" OF TOP-QUALITY SUPER TALENTS (produced so far since 2013----even the class of 2009 is there----and still being produced and bound to go on as years turn into decades and more) THAT CAN GO ON AND STAND THEIR OWN IN THE BIG LEAGUES OR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.......

Like I said, it's a new era and NIGERIA IS LEADING THE WAY........ *Big Smiles*

thank you @ super nerd...that uae set seem to be making raves @ the moment.. Hope uve not 4goten our captain.. He is in one club in turkey with a long name... Wey end with..... Por.... Lolz.. The key to any young player's devt is the deal he gets after the tournament. Ok imagine that our left back.. Wats his name again sef... Okon or smtn... Where is he now.. What about akinjide idowu he is a good player but hasn't gotten a good deal.. Remember alfa? He bossed the midfield then.. But do u still hear of him? The club a young players signs for after exposure in a major tournament is key. Unlucky for us Africans we don't always get the best deals.. South americans and Europeans do.. This may just be the reason they dominate world football.. Naija we are on our way though

I really don't know Pasuma's age now...but he was supposed to be in the squad for China 85. If u do d maths, he should be around 16, 17 then

I once listened to Pasuma on top sport with Godwin Enakhena and Pasuma said he is 50 years old now

For those that have been crying foul 'bout Nigeria cheating at age grade competitions, that when it comes to senior level they fizzle out,I think they should go and do some research before coming out and post here just to undermine our achievements in age grade completions.
Do they ever consider some of these facts:
- AFCON are played by our senior players,we have played in 7 AFCON finals, isn't that an achievement by our senior boys?
- The last AFCON that we won,80/90% of the players came through from our U-17/U-20/U-23 teams. - Omeruo,Onazi,Mikel,Mba,(from U-17),
Echiejile,Efe,Ideye,Musa (from U-20)
Only Enyeama,Emenike,Obobona and IK Uche didn't play age grade competitions before playing for SE.
- The last but not the list, the greatest player that Nigeria has ever produced(KANU) came through right from U-17,
Are these not achievements and benefits from the age grade completions?
What about some countries that are yet to win anything for the past 30 years with their senior or junior.
There is nothing that can be done to please some people.
Go Eaglets, just bring back the trophy, that's all that matters.

Istanbul Basekhehir...... Musa Mohammed's club (I hope I got the spelling right)........ *smiles*

Of course I haven't forgotten him..... It's just they are quite a number of them and I just wanted to mention a few.

Others are Godwin Savior (KVO Oostende, Belgium super liga), Dele Alampasu (Athletico Feirense, Portugal 2nd Liga), Aliyu Abubakar (Ms Ashdod, Israel), MuAZam (Kvc Westerlo..... Belgium), And others....... *smiles*

This class of 2015 Golden Eaglets boast some "super exciting" talents that can go on to greater things in the game......... Osimhen, K.Nwakali, Chukwueze, Akpan Udoh (GK), Lazarus, Anumudu, Kingsley Michael, Zakari Lukman, And a few odas.

And u're rite about a few top talents from UAE 2013 and New Zealand 2015 like Akinjide Idowu, Alfa Abdullahi, Samuel Okon, Zaharadeen Bello and Ifeanyi Matthew.

But u see...... I'm not too worried..... Bello stars for Kano pillars...... Matthew turns out for El-kanemi warriors all in the local league and is a key member of the home-based Super EAGLES THAT JUST QUALIFIED FOR RWANDA 2016 CHAN.

In time, they will hit the right deals...... *smiles*

Pls guys! Ds Lazarus (no2) luks like unda-17?

I have a younger brother who is less than 16 yrs but looks much older and matured than all our u17 players.
Same thing for my younger Sister who is also a born footballer. She was rated the best footballer why in Primary School. She played better than the boys self, but she was just 12-13 yrs old. If she had represented Nigeria @ u17 tournament, no body would have believed she is just U-15.

Why are you people doubting these guys age? The previous sets before set 2013 might have featured over aged players, but the last 2 sets have been real U17 abeg.

Taa you forget Stanley Okoro, Sani Emmanuel, Ajjagun? Abi you no know say him play U17 with Isco, Neymar and El Shaarawy? The only player in that team currently playing soccer are Azeez and Onazi.

You forget Chrisantus etc and him set? No be them Kroos, DE Gea, Victor Moses, Illaramendi and Borjan Krkic mate?

Ronaldinho, Xavi, Ashley Cole played U20 in 1999 and they still playing soccer till date. Where is Aghahowa, Dombraye, Bazuaye, Okunowo etc that played together them?

Nigeria has never produced a legit team for age grade competitions. Quote me anywhere

Or are you telling me that Iheanacho is 19? Hahahahah

U don't seem to get it,do u? My point is that Nigeria have been benefiting greatly from participating or winning age grade competitions contrary to what some people always says, KANU is the living testimony,he played U-17 and went on to play for over 15yrs. with profound achievements

For the records this will be Nigeria's 8th semifinal in this competition. Nigeria will await their thursday's opponents as Mexico(2-time winners) will battle it out with Ecuador. I am smelling a repeat of last edition's games between Nigeria and Mexico if you know what I mean.Let us also give kudos to d African champions,Mali who have also come this far but I fancy an Africa final(if they can get over Belgium or Costarica).Honestly,West Africa has shown that this is where African talent exists.

**Welcome Prof, from ur "sabbatical" leave from NL**

And yeah...... THIS IS THE STAGE WHERE WE'RE MOST INVINCIBLE. Mexico or Ecuador...... They're gonna be overpowered by the Golden Eaglets.

Also, this semi-final achievment marks a "new record high" for Nigeria.

Am aslo a Chelsea fan but still follow the national team, in short, I follow Nigeria's matches more than Club football. I pay money to watch even the U17 teams both male and female. I am also an ardent follower of football threads on Nairaland, though on the ghost mode, just joined the forum few days ago.

Did half of that team get to represent Belgium senior National team? Do you think a Nigerian footballer have the same opportunity and chances like the Europeans.

Moses injured at Chelsea and he got the boot to Liverpool. He injured at Liverpool and got the boot to Stoke. He injured at Stoke and got the boot to West Ham.

Theo Walcott, Sturridge and Wilshere can injure for one year and their positions remain untouched.
