First of all there's no state in Nigeria like River state. It's either Rivers state or Cross River state... If it is Rivers state then its a lie cos I served at Nonwa Gbam tai... It doesn't in anyway look like the camp and if it is cross-river state the op and the moderator that moved it to the front page should have corrected the typo rather than misinforming people.

Those structures the op uploaded are makeshift hostels for corp members. The main hostels aren't bad. Those structures up there are like the lecture halls where those boring lectures are held. They are used as hostels when there is a high number of corp members and the main hostels can't accommodate them. That one with 'Poultry Ward' was used as MCAN mosque during the 2014 Batch A set. Those days sha.

This place still better pass Edo state wey dey use okada grammar school as camp and dey call it permanent camp. 2012 I no fit forget the camp where you pay to charge ur phone anybody have idea if Edo have finally move to there permanent camp or still using Okada grammar school class rooms.

hmmm, the hostel wasn't bad in 2011/2012, but the toilet was mostly messed up with tissues and those dirty peeps who find it difficult to flush.
There was light to an extent and water then.

Your right,as at 2011 that camp was very clean and sound and we also had 24hrs light,cuz there was 2 big generators that the militants used during there stay in that camp. Water also was flowing wella, but the pix that Op is showing was an uncompleted building that was used as make shift hostel. The hostel are in good condition,so Op tell your source to stop lying.

The main hostels are not as bad as these.

You'll only find ourselve in this "poultry ward" if you get to camp late.

Unfortonately, I don't have pics of the main hostels.

It's a shame my fellow ex-corpers from Cross River state don't want to comment on this right-up. Even Las Vegas hostel at the camp (obubra) is not this bad. The above pics was never a part of the hostels. There are majorly 4 hostels, namely: hall "A and B" for the females, hall "C and D" for the males, while "LAS VEGAS" is a very large hall without dermacated rooms for males also. The pic above is where some corpers go to rehearse for social night activities then in 2013 batch B a.k.a cow-snake match path.

To be honest with u I don't respect anyone that served in lagos. They were just pampered. At iseyin camp you must ve igbo or marijuna in ur mouth b4 you can enter toilet. So if you re a saint like me you ve to do shot pot. I wish every day is nysc . Is an experience I won't forget in a hurry. Rest in peace to some of my friends that died during the service year. I love my yoruba people they re very accomodating like wise igbo people. An igbo man will sleep on the floor and allow a stranger to sleep on the bed. God bless naija. Yorubas will say ajuwire and empty there food basket for u. It pains me how we fight on nairaland. Anyways if una like make una divide naija. As for me am happy with my love oluwasola from ijebu ode
