Some people here will never read with sense of understanding before cooking up criticisms. He clearly put it that it is not legal for you as a staff to do some things. Some still indulge in some, but it's not allowed. that does not false the write up. I work in a bank. OP write up is true..... |

maximunimpact: YOU CANNOT MARRY YOUR CO-WORKER: This may not be news to you anyway, relationships are permitted among employees, albeit with slight oversight; but when it is tilting towards marriage, one of the pairs may have to consider resignation. There is nothing to worry about this buddy, it’s all about protecting our money, you never can tell what happens between husband and wife because the bond is so strong that the bank cannot contain. FALSE. U can marry in Keystone bank and still remain in the bank with your partner. Your sibling can also work in the same bank with you. This policy does not apply to all banks sir. |

Creamish: Happy birthday in arrears. Where cake? I think the Op should have said some banks, but looking at it holistically these rules work in lots of banks. He clearly stated that it's the standard, it doesn't mean there are no exceptions or rules are not broken. After all, how many bankers can look their Internal control in the face and admit having numerous accts or side businesses? |
Re: Revealed: Practices In Nigerian Banks That Will Shock You by saintgwizard(m): 5:11pm On Nov 20, 2015 |
Not just banking. Most of these rules apply in other sectors. |
