Hello Nairalanders, I have been wondering about the recent trends and campaign promise made by Federal government to Pay Nigerian teaming unemployed Youths 5k monthly without foul play? this 5k of a thing seems not feasible to me.

The process of Gathering data alone would be defeated as political bigwigs would hijack it and favour only those fanning them.

Please drop your view below cos I want to register but don't know where to start or how to go about it.

Back to the matter I think the problem of unemployment should be addressed not issuance of social security to the unemployed

Millions will be registered through NYSC certificates. Many might have to tender exemption letters(part time students, etc) and school certifcate/transcript for NCE holders. Just thinking o!
A visionary and serious-minded government could record 70% success using this suggestion.

Lemme Assume You Have Done Your NIMC registration as well as BVN registration. Trust me its a simple process. The TSA thing is indeed a blessing in disguise for Nigeria cos you will be paid directly from the Central Bank, no fraud or Mago Mago.. But that Money isn't for people that have part time jobs oo or full time, its means for people that are actually poor.. So u when get better fone and u dey Nairaland, I don think you are qualified

What happens to those that learnt handiwork and trade?

Nigerians are greedy those doing personal unregistered businesses that fetch them 250K monthly will still come out as unemployed claiming its their share of the national cake..

Bros! Let me to remind you that some people died During, before and after NYSC. The way to collect this Data might be to go back to your state of Origin and register Under your LGA. but I tell you most solemny, This process will still flop. Lack of up to date data base and maintenance will be d case. My 2cent

Abokiss and IDPs, and APC card carrying members will certainly be at the forefront of beneficiaries.

If I am Working immediately after or before NYSC, how will FG be notified.

What is the duration limit for unemployed ex-corp member? (ex-corp, or graduated from 10yrs down or)

If I am an entrepreneur after Schooling who knows

I can decide not to work, just enjoy the inherited wealth, but still qualify for the 5k... how can it be checkmate

Who is an Unemployed youth? ...So if I no go higher institutions, an manage go evening sch or weac/neco finish, but I am a youth, would I qualify.

Using Bvn to monitor the qualified youth accounts could solve some of these questions but I can use someone's account for my business account and still be leeching the 5k as a 5k qualified youth

How can they use NYSC cert to register unemployed, Virtually all graduate either working or not have NYSC cert, so how do you know those not working

If u don't collect it, someone else will, it myt b ur governor or a senator or a minister, someone else will collect it... 2nd, u made a rather flawed assumption, u said smthng abt creation of jobs!
