... Nice comments. I have been observing her bigotry, diatribe and subtle hate comments on this forum. The topic is not about Ndigbo or Biafra or Nnamdi Kanu but just to satisfy her innate and ordinate ambition to ridicule Ndigbo she has to subtly introduced Biafra and nnamdi Kanu on this topic.

Ishilove, embrace this new year and make suggestions and comments that will uplift and encourage nigerians to cohabit peacefully. Kindly shun bigotry, hate and 'online arrogance'. Thank you.

dunno if na real whitey or not but his assessment is on point .

Yoruba nation see no use for war... tho disagreements is a "normal" thing .because yorubas tend to over analyse issues.

if that is cowardice then It's a virtue I hope other tribes emulate.

dying over trivial issues like religion , ethnicity , culture is just plain irrational.

the piece correctly points out yorubas were reluctant to enter the war ... BUT we all know when Yoruba did, their effect was DEVASTATING to their opponents across the Niger.

Peace is a beautiful thing!
give this guy a medal! He has made my year already

Laughter/humour and even hilarity is good and desirable.

However, it is indiscreet to allow the thrills and the fun of laughter to beyond a certain level such that when sobriety comes it would be accompanied by regret and disillusionment, or what do you think?

Kai you wicked o, correcting the correcter without insult in a painfully uninsultive way. On a serious note these is not an english class, and for those that insist on corecting coma, full stop, etc and grammar thru insults you should change and give a write up of the correct version instead.

”Ishioma, you're a disgrace, I swear” is not incendiary??

I come from the south-south of Nigeria, and so do you. This Nnamdi Kanu asked the Igbos in the east to attack the northerners. If this were to happen and their brethren in Lagos retaliate, I and my household and other innocent people will be lumped together with Igbos and attacked.

If rejoicing that the dangerous bufoon is incarcerated is a disgrace, then the disgrace is just beginning.

If you don't know how to express yourself without insults, I beg you, because of the relationship we have,[s] DON'T QUOTE ME because I will not hold back when I'm dishing it out to you very hot[/s].

I can't remember saying anything about Nnamdi Kalu (Like who gives a F**k who he is- You are more related to him than myself genetically), .. I was just curious about the orgasms generated by Buhari's outburst which in my books is ladened with dictatorial IED's and i was expecting you of all people to more careful with statements like that.

People need to reason beyond their nose rather than the spur of the moment excitements (Sex readily comes to mind)

You are a cretinous fuuktard.

When you can pride yourself as an intelligent man, then you have a right to talk.

Fuuktard! With your brain, beneficial things can hardly happen in your life.

Hopefully this is the year you will even die for your Gods or lands, cretin.

At least I know you will not see that as an insult or curse since you see it as the highest honour.

You are so cretinous, you are willing to die like this without even a potential offer of 1 virgin talkless of 72.

That alone makes an average Jihadist, who is a dumb fuuktard in the first place, 72 times more intelligent than your dumbarse.

Oh Well, what can I say ..... Two points from what the journalist said:

*1- Yorubas are not inclined to die in the name of any religion
*2- They blow inconsequential things out of proportion

Which is True or False?

Click Like if only #1 is correct.
Click Share if both are correct.

You forgot the third, or rather, the completion of the second.

They were a most reluctant participant in the Biafra war.

*2- They blow inconsequential things out of proportion...yet, they avoid war/fights.

It reminds me of what an igbo friend once said;
"Yoruba people sabi shout, but when fight come, them go run," and that "igbo man no go follow you shout but go fight you."

I agree with both.

And btw, I'm just telling you this, don't know why you're antagonising me for it. Geez!

What Blaine Harden wrote is what we know already. The Yoruba's are loud mouthed cowards with very little scruples. Their sexual morality is also the lowest amongst all Nigerians. Maybe at par with that of the Calabars and Idomas.

Accuse the white man of not having coherent english writing and then you proceed to start a sentence with 'was' worst part is that english is not even your language and lastly, NO, not everything is an insult.
what should he have used instead of ''was''? or how could he have started the sentence?

LOL.

I knew this Yoruba Muslim from my IT days at NBL. Once we (me and a bunch of other IT students) got talking about drinking and he joined in. I was a little surprised because he struck me as someone who took his faith seriously - his dad was an imam and he prayed regularly.

So I said, "You drink beer?"

He looked at me quizzically and went, "Yes, why? Do I look too young to drink?" I was even more surprised that he couldn't tell straight away that his religion was the reason I was surprised.

When I finally said, "But you're a Muslim", he went, "Oh...that. Mscheew..."
lol,,,you might be suprised if you go to his house and meet his Imam dad rocking Orijin or Goldberg inside the parlour. grin grin . My dad is an Alhaji, the Balogun (Muslim chief) of his quarter, he drinks beer and wine with friends whenever they come to see him, but he does not go to the bar. grin grin
