so young.... As children, they taught us, they assured us, they promised us we ARE the leaders of tomorrow....Tomorrow has come and rather than lead, we are led to the slaughter house by selfish leaders who has refused to loosen their grip on power. Rather than protest for real change, instead we go out in protest to fight and shed our bloods in order for these men to remain in power. Real change for me is when 90% of our leaders, elected and appointed, from the President down to the LGA chairman of the smallest LGA is someone who hasnt been in the confines of power in the last 30 years.....Not someone who led Nigeria before i was born, not someone who has/was associated with ANY of the past regimes (whethere APC, PDP, Accord, military or democracy era). Nigerian youths, we have the power, lets use it well.....Young soldier, brave soldier, rest in Peace |

most of the soldiers fighting this war are from southern nigeria! most of those down south here escorting expatriates, following politicians, killing innocent ipob, ogoni youths and any southerner they can find are soldiers from northern extract. why? 1 Like |

DonCortino: You are right my brother. But let's not conclude that ALL ARE SOUTHERNERS. The issue actually began in 2013, when the Defense HQ issued an order that all the Kanuri indigenous soldiers should be withdrawn from the Northeast of Nigeria. This was because many of them were caught sabotaging the efforts of the operation in their bases. Thus, leaving the northeast to a large amount of soldiers from other tribes other than the KANURI PEOPLE. PS. Of course there are still quite a number of Kanuri with us in the Northeastern Nigerian states and they are doing well. 1 Like 1 Share |

You just said the naked truth.I don't rejoice over his death but Nigerian soldiers have no respect for human lives especially civilians. They see us as slaves.I have no feelings for people who treat others like shit, afterall, their lives aren't more important than those they kill like chicken.
