Brethren i great you all in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus christ. I had been in grief for months. Its been close to a year since my younger brother died, he was stabbed to death by some hoodlums on his way back to sch during the post election crisis that broke out in saminaka kaduna state last year. A final year student at the ahmadu bello university zaria. He stood about 6 feet and 2 inches tall, he was strong and healthy, he died just like that. I cried like a baby when i got the news of his death. Before long, people started dying around me (my loved ones). Amid all this, on the third week of january i had a very deep dream. In this dream, i saw myself standing in a place that looks like a cross-roads. Suddenly i saw an angel flew swiftly and stood in front, a part of the road that seem like an entrance into a particular place. This angel was clothed in white linen, around him was as though a powerful wind was blowing, i looked properly and saw that he had wings of which i thought was the wind. I saw people coming in queue from one side of the road. And a man who was the first to arrive, walked toward the angel and stood in front of him. A conversation ensued between the angel and the man, it was about all the man had done when he was alive. From what i heard, the man was cruel, he refused to repent and surrender his to jesus christ when he had the chance. Immediatly this angel finished talking, a dark spirit came swiftly and started to drag this man away. In fear, the man cried and pleaded for mercy, this angel stood right there emotionless with an indifference in his countenance. So i thought in my heart, why would this angel allow this man to be taken away just like that. What this angel said to me still echo in my mind, even as type this. He said; without holiness no one will come into the kingdom of heaven. Immediatly i was shown a different scene, were i saw people who are clothed in white linen, this people were singing and rejoicing, so i enquired; who are this people? I heard a voice say, this are they which have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the lamb. After all this, i woke up. What is holiness? How can we be made holy? In the strictest sense of the word, only God is holy for He is seperated from other beings by His infinite perfection, wisdom, power, justice and his glory which fills the earth (Isaiah 6:3). God the father has made available his holiness through the death and resurrection of jesus christ. In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:22). Folks, people are dying everyday. According to recent study, the world's population is approximately 7.5 billion, of which christians make up about 30%, looking at this statistics, it clearly shows that we have work to do. Let us preach the word. Hell is not made for humanity. May God help us all.

Sorry about your brother and some of your loved ones.. In spite of the misfortune, God is still with you and by His grace no one in your family will die young ever again.
I love your stance in Christ. It's really inspiring and it shows a sign of spiritual maturity.


You have been marked for greatness and the mercy of God overshadows you.


The revelation you saw is an eye opener for you to realize that God intends for us to be holy.


Holiness in God's eyes is simply Pleasing Him by accepting His Son Jesus Christ and abiding in Him (doing His will).... Living a life that reflects the character of God.


Though we are not perfect but God counts it for us as righteousness when we do good deeds that please Him.

Remember Abraham pleased God by trusting in Him and God credited it to him as righteousness (holiness).. Genesis 15 vs 6.


I once had a revelation where I was a spectator in heaven. I was taken to heaven and I saw Abraham, God and one other person(I didn't recognize this person).
The person was questioning God asking that why did God say Abraham was the father of faith even when Abraham doubted Him at certain points in his life.. God simply replied that He looked past Abraham's doubts and credited his faith as righteousness.


God is merciful and gracious. Holiness (righteousness) is derived from His mercies and grace, not by our works or efforts but by His love, kindness, grace and mercy. That if we believe in Him, in His Son Jesus Christ, doing His will and abiding in Him, even when we are weak, He is there to carry us for He is the source of our strength.



Like you said, let us preach God's word.. But more importantly, let us live our lives reflecting the character of Jesus Christ and doing His will.

Would like to share a few thoughts on the topic at hand :tithing.

First of all, appreciation to Vooks for his comments, and to analice107 and temi4fash for their testimonies.

Let me state right on that I'm neither for nor against tithing. My wish is to exhume the principles for our benefit.

Let's go back to the beginings - the book of Genesis.

There, we see Abraham give a tenth of all to a man called Melchisedek.

There is no record of any instruction to do so. So Abraham who is the father of both the old and new convenant people gave a tithe w/out an instruction to do so.

Why did Abraham do so? Beacause he traced his wealth to God. God reaponded by saying that He (God) is Abraham's shield and exceeding great reward.

To the king of sodom, Abraham replied he had ascribed all his wealth to God and not give man the opportunity to that claim.

So we see a principle that God wants first claim for your provision and not any man or your own ability.

Next in the law, God says the first of everything is His. Some may be redeemed for money and others given (sacrificed) like that.

We all know that God doesn't desire sacrifice but rather obedience.

All God desired was honour as the source of provision for everything.

And in turn, God promises to make provision abundant.

Now remember,

A law of earth is seed time and harvest.

Another is that a man is made right by believing with the heart.

And yet another, that a good man, out of the good treasure in his heart brings out good things.

Remember, God does not change, His basis of dealing with humans (i. e. Convenants) has changed; however, He himself does not change neither does His laws nor that of earth.

Did you notice that God gave them a means to engage all those laws in a convenient way.

First of all, He is acknowledged as source, that immediately sets apart all as belonging to Him (i. e. holy).

Secondly, you believe that you have given to God, in your heart (thinking, belief system) you are certain you have done the right thing. You are right with God on that account as pertaining.

Thirdly, you engage the law of sowing and reaping. You've invested, you'll surely receive a reward.

Fourth, also the law of faith. You believed in your heart that God has promised abundant provision for you, you expect it and you say so both conciously and unconciously.

Another benefit is provision of resources for the church establisment to function.

Principles remember.

As one who believes on Jesus, He has paid the ultimate price for sins and curses. So no curses for not obeying that law.

NO CURSES FOR NOT DOING SO.

However, you're still not engaging the laws, so you do not reap the benefits either!

Yes, the bible promises to prosper and bless you, and to provide for your needs. True! And God does do so.

And one of the most important ways is by providing revelation /information /light! You’re what you know.

He teaches/reveals the laws and principles so you can use them to your (and His) profit.

When you used your faith for healing, you realized that it went beyond wishing /hoping /praying.
You had to stand on a certainty and act accordingly. It is revelation acted on that caused the result to manifest.

There is a parallel in finances.

This writeup is not to perauade you either way. It is just to focus your attention on the principles at work so that you can re-create the results at your wish.

Remember, Moses knew God's ways, same as Caleb and Joshua. They knew to mix faith with what God said. They meditated on His Words.

The Isrealites did not know/do so. When the pressure was on, they fell off.

God did not give them an excuse because He expected them to know.

The Lord showed you your assignment. You have a big part to play in the salvation of souls around you. He made you to watch how a man without Christ will end. Your concern now shd be, what was the spiritual state of you beloved departed brother? Can you do something about those Still Alive? Incase there's anyone around your who is still out there without Christ, you have to be a Watcher on the Wall for him. Stand in the gap and pray for his salvation.

The bible says that God's Wisdom has many sides to it.

Yes, I agree totally with you that glorifying Jesus Christ is the epitome of our labour.

The aim is to bring to light the principles that undergird wealth provision in the bible.

The Wisdom of God. There are different aspects of Wisdom. Some are higher than others.

An example of natural wisdom is the law of gravity. A higher law is that of aviation which enables tons of metal to fly.

So it is with Spiritual wisdom. There are different levels. The results you get depend on that you know and apply.

Look at Jacob. God was with him. Yet, it took him a long time and a lot of labour before he could experience the prosperity that was his.

It was towards the end of his life that he entered the rest that was his all the while. See how easy it was for his father Isaac.

Again, when we first believed, we were impressed with the promises of God and were fully convinced that life would be a bed of roses.

With time and experience, we discovered a higher wisdom that faith w/out works is dead. We engaged that and experienced higher results. We began to experience labouring in God's rest.

And there is yet a higher wisdom where resources find their way into your possession w/out any labour. They literally begin to embarrass you.

Bother, it is the principles.

There is no compulsion to obey and no punishment either. Actually, as a believer in Christ, there is blessing for provision. We are blessed in Christ.

Indeed, the most important thing is that we have accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We access higher realms of experience when we interact with the revelation /wisdom/knowledge that governs that experience.

My humble thoughts, hope they shed light.

yes dear. we (by Gods grace ) that made it will be wat thing everything that occurs on earth. see....the. Bible says in the book of Hebrews that .......we are surroundedd by a great cloud of witness....those witnesses are the saints that are in heaven now, watching us. see...in heaven there is no impossibilities. you can see a pin on earth. you can see 50 places on earth at once. there are so many she rents God has explained to me about heaven that even some Christians will find hard to believe.
