Yeah, i understand! But are you saying 30k is much or pretty small? My first pay cheque was 10k as a BSc holder, then it graduated to 25k bla bla bla.

There's always a stepping stone in everyone's career...we mustn't all start big

Girl, I am not saying that we start big... i am saying we start from a point that we are willing to put in an extra sacrifice for the company we work for. a point where we look at where we have been and equate it with where we want to be. If you pay 30k for a sales girl or boy, who has not spent 4 years spending hundreds of thousands of naira every year studying to be a professional, that will be fair. Our reward system is poor and we should not encourage it. 30K in Abuja is worse than slavery.

Well, choice differs! If you stay with someone and pay like 200box to work especially if you stay around Lugbe and the office is at central Area, why won't anyone take the job? Probably cook from home too! See, the Country is a mess! I get it and its not like I'm encouraging such but there are things to consider. Do you know what it means to have some few cash at the end of the month? It does go a long way. Sometimes, we take up jobs to have the needed experience, staying at home every morning is so annoying & tiring. My dear, its not all about the degree or the money. Do you know many job seekers out there with more than one degree? First degree isn't a big deal any more cause they are a lot of peeps with master, phd plus certifications yet no job so na you with first degree go dey make noise? grin

Hmmmm, if most people here tell you what they earn you won't argue about pay. Most peeps just want to have something doing no matter how much the pay is. My first paycheck was 15k with stringent rules. However it's increasing gradually.
