I'm sure you were sipping alomo or Star while typing. Must everything be about sex? Do you mean to say you can't help someone you don't know from Adam or have any affiliation with?

Na wa oh!!!

You are either a hypocrite or a big fool, either of which I hate having anything to do with. Yimu Yimu bla bla. I know your type. If you see your neighbour 9 year old child alone for corner, na your type fit rape am. Na your type too nogo fit help your relatives or any stranded male. Na woman you fit help under false presence of niceness. Idiot come here dey talk nonsense.

If you find it trusting people as a result of your resent experience, visit Living Faith Church at durumi or find your way to Goshen, I'm sure your problem would be solved.

That will be the worst mistake she will ever make! Except of course she is a member of Living Faith Church while she was in Delta which will have to be ascertained before she is given assistance! Winners chapel can NEVER HELP YOU IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER OF THEIR CHURCH! Not even just a member...YOU MUST BE A TITHE-PAYING MEMBER with proof!

I sympathise with the OP. All what she stated are the reality on ground here in Abuja. Hence, I've compiled a list on how to survive in Abuja as a fresher.

Must you leave in Garki or Wuse, are you not working? USe your salary to rent yourself a small room, if you dont have a relative or close female friend you can put up with. Mpape, kubwa, kuje or even Bwari are places where accomodation are cheap. And yes people do it and live in Abj happy. Nothing in life is free, you should not expect people to just give you roof for free cause you are new in town. Thank God you haven't even fallen into the hands , the story could be worse.

Sorry i sound harsh but it the truth.

They all want a free meal. The whole story sounds like the narration of a teenager, and not an adult.

How do you go about cohabiting with men you don't know? You think living with them, cooking on their cooker, in their pots, flushing the toilet on water they worked for is a free service to humanity?

How bizarre. How did she expect it to work out? Are there people who think so highly of strangers?

How naïve.

She's lucky something kept pushing the guy to the couch. She might've ended up another person in his pot.

Simple solution:you can relocate to mpape, where houses are cheap and affordable. There, you can get an accomodation of 3-4k per month and landlords do collect 6months rent.Self contain there is between 70 to 80k per year.
Are you serious?

The problems with abuja landlords is this. They can increase their rent any time. Without informing you. If you try to ask why. They will say. If ain't gonna stay you should pack out. It's because so many people are ready to pay and enter.

I had accommodation issues back then in 2013 and trust me, my church in Kubwa Glass house did NOT help me oooo. I went thru a great depression as d person i stayed with threw my load outside but not before hitting me.

I ended up squatting before finally having my own place which was at Peyi Junction. As small as d place was, it felt like heaven to me.

Yes oooo...its not about going to d church n the members see ur face. Membership in many churches entails you joining d workforce of d church and attending house fellowship before they can even help u.
